3cm now. Inducing now or soon. Said will happen tonight.

Ok I'm gonna clock in now lol - just real a min ago!
Gonna try and hit arms then have legs followed by a rest day on Sunday it's looking like! Am very tired today(been up since 130am and had a client at 530 and a few more till 10am then a couple group classes) then hopefully I'll be able to get a good arm w/o in(gives me the rest b4 chest too)!

Okay..... Two words can sum up that back session.....
Holy shit
Pull downs to warm up
- hammer strength rows (3 sets - one was a burn out)
- double dumbell Rowe 2 sets
- machine pull overs 2 sets
What he told me: Back is a muscle that you won't get forced reps, negatives, or drops sets with. Once you reach that failure point you will inevitably bring your traps into the lift. You don't want to do that.... I believe in isolating every muscle for growth.
For rowes you want your shoulders to drop and your chest to pop with your head up. Arms stay tight to the body.
It's hard to explain it all without actually being able to show it. All I can say is my back was destroyed in 6 sets. I couldn't walk lol - figure that the fvck out. I literally fell to the floor.
Afterwards he says "you're cut for this shit mate. You've got that mental toughness. You're going to explode. I love this..... It's what drives me. This training right here..... It builds monsters!"
Heading back now for a nap haha

Oh and at the beginning of the workout he goes "your traps are big mate. They're really strong..... That tells me you're working your back incorrectly. You're using your traps too much. We need to fix your form"
Just having an extremely experienced coach/trainer have a look at you is such a valuable tool. I've seriously learned so much in just a few days. I never would have figured this shit out on my own.

I literally WANT nothing more than to have felt exactly what you have - I can only imagine what it's like w/a true HIT'er & coach while spotting you...
If your working your back and you can't squeeze those last reps(on your own) it sure makes a lot of sense that your traps get involved or start firing just by your elbows getting higher and winging out cauding traps to come into pic?!

Usually when I work my diet is pretty much on point. It's fairly clean I would think. Just this week where I have been off and Thanksgiving shit has hit the fan to say the least.

I should be sleeping but for various reasons I'm not. I'm awake and just thinking about things. I keep going back to my training session today..... Trying to relive it. It's such a painful place but was the most enjoyable part of my day.
I also got to thinking about this thread..... We're all so focused on training hard and reaching failure that we may lose sight of proper form. We want our weights to go up but what good is increasing weight to increase weight? If that increase won't help to build mass - what good is it to us?
What this thread, Marcus, kel, and others have done is to highlight the importance of HIT. It shows the successful nature of it. It shows that you can be a beast. There's no fvcking doubt in my mind that HIT is a proven method to a freaky physique. This thread is an inspiration to not just the beginners but veterans also. We should never stop learning. This shit is a long journey - you won't learn HIT over night. You won't read 200 pages of explanations and just go and apply it. You will TRY but more than likely will be unsuccessful. To some this might mean you give up. To a true HITer..... Failing to reach failure was actually a success. You realized there could be something different to do or try. You never fail..... You learn.
Then one day.... It'll come. It'll smack you in the face and your world will turn upside down. You'll be on the floor in the worst pain of your life (maybe next to nach' s 15 surgeries :-p) - you'll see the light so to speak. In that moment..... No training session will be the same anymore.
That's when your journey really begins. You've been going hard for 8 years..... But the journey only has just begun. You've unlocked a tool that most never will..... Most never could mentally get there. You just did..... Welcome to HIT motherfvckers!

Still a slight fever, but feeling a bit better. Missed 4 meals yesterday, but did get in some shakes. Working on 7 egg whites and 1 oz mozzarella cheese right now. If all goes well I will be hitting chest tonight before I go to work.

Mornin' HITers -- nice post Haz! & this(HIT) believe it or not is far more painful than most anything I've gone thru(that just amazes me after how I feel some days :P) it's a different type of pain(one you know that will eventually go away - maybe that's why it's so tough day in and day out to achieve this?!) we have control of this feeling... Its time we embrace it!
