BG... I've noticed such a difference Since actually really warming up - yeah it takes a while(30-40min for me as well) but it's better than hurting/tweaking things that would normally not be the case!

Curious do you do your abs/core work b4 you train? This also has helped loosen up my back prior to my session and the more blood flow I get into the muscles/& BP im working(along with the synergistic muscles used) has really helped with my strength, also! Sure it sux warming up that long but, imo it's worth the reward and of course there's much less risk of injury to and around BPs/muscles being worked... Just my experience brother...

Hey BG I am going to touch on what Nach said about doing some core work before hand. I myself have lower back problems and these guys told me about doing some core work before hand. Now I do it every day that I am working legs or back. It really has helped me out a lot.

VT fan Here. Live about 10 to 15 mins from then school. Glad they pulled it out.

well the only reason I would pull for Stanford is cause they are PAC 12. At the end of the day I will root for who ever to win or loose that gives Oregon a chance of being invited to the fiesta bowl though

I usually do a solid 15-20 min warm, but man 30-40 makes the night fly by. Small amounts of core before, Its actually something Im working on. Today I spent 30 minutes after arms doing core. Now Ill add more to warm up. Its hard with a training partner, you either have to get in early to warm up so much or I rush it. I think when Im eating, making my shake and pre-work out Ill start warming up. Getting old fuking sucks

Just went in for legs and went really well. Neck barely hurts now.

    Arms-
    V-preacher's
    Seated dumbbells
Eazy bar 21's with drop to failure with lighter weight bar. Full range motion on the super.
    Single arm preacher machine
    Low compound cables

    Tri's
Single arm push down cable with super set ropes to failure
    Dip machine
    Close grip

    Abs/core

For some reason all of a sudden I stopped doing cardio, monday Ill get it back in.

I have arm issues since I tore my bi off and had the other tendon snap in my fore arm so I cant train arms real heavy. Imm going to try doing more. So thats why I did a lot of bi's, kinda shorted tri's but I have to come up with some more exercises for them. Next week Ill hit them better. I kinda have Palumboism , my arms just arent what they used to be...at least I feel that way.

That's one and maybe the only good aspect of NOT having a partner lol - but I really have noticed such a difference... Plus like you mentioned I'll start at home sometimes with my rumble roller(got one finally but im still learning to breathe better and let IT do the job)... I started adding in core myself with the cable machine machine(sides/a lil weighted abs high reps)... Sounds good man sounds like your opening up a growth window that's for sure!

Its what ive been shouting about all the way through the thread. Its extremely powerful tool but many have no idea how to do it or go to that failure zone, it all starts within the head. If anyone would train differently if they train with a HIT coach or one of us in here then your not training hard enough. Its hard to take your body to this level that's why you cant do it for weeks on end, I last around 6 weeks then I need to pullback sometimes its sooner than 6 weeks but no one can do this kind of assault on the body without giving it adequate rest and repair

    HIT all the way

I also got to thinking about this thread..... We're all so focused on training hard and reaching failure that we may lose sight of proper form. We want our weights to go up but what good is increasing weight to increase weight? If that increase won't help to build mass - what good is it to us?

What this thread, Marcus, kel, and others have done is to highlight the importance of HIT. It shows the successful nature of it. It shows that you can be a beast. There's no fvcking doubt in my mind that HIT is a proven method to a freaky physique. This thread is an inspiration to not just the beginners but veterans also. We should never stop learning. This shit is a long journey - you won't learn HIT over night. You won't read 200 pages of explanations and just go and apply it. You will TRY but more than likely will be unsuccessful. To some this might mean you give up. To a true HITer..... Failing to reach failure was actually a success. You realized there could be something different to do or try. You never fail..... You learn.

Then one day.... It'll come. It'll smack you in the face and your world will turn upside down. You'll be on the floor in the worst pain of your life (maybe next to nach' s 15 surgeries :-p) - you'll see the light so to speak. In that moment..... No training session will be the same anymore.

That's when your journey really begins. You've been going hard for 8 years..... But the journey only has just begun. You've unlocked a tool that most never will..... Most never could mentally get there. You just did..... Welcome to HIT motherfvckers!

Id always wear a belt BG, having it to tight can cause it to dig in. But you don't need it really tight so long as you can breath and brace against it to help support the back, also you can wear it further up the waist. Do some rolling of the hams and glutes and light squats

Jumped on the Mucinex train and slept like a corpse. Kept a bottle by the bed, read the recommended dosing and altered it somewhat. Back to the good old night shift at work now. Lungs are still crapped up, but clearing some.
Plan to hit chest tomorrow. Belive I am pushing my blast for a few more weeks like Clarky, but I think I will go with a pullback after I finish up.this rotation. Not sure that I've ever hit a pullback while on a cycle/blast so that will be a new experience.

I think it might be a good thing. I feel ready for a pullback.
We're still hitting failure, but not beyond, so I'm wondering if the combination of the increased rest from the pullback and the additional supplements might have us fully recharged and then some.
I'd like to hit chest, legs, and arms and then drop into a pullback toward the end of the upcoming week?
    What's your thoughts, Clarky?

Good morning guys!! Slept like true shit. Woke up a few times, stopped up and throat sore. The top of my mouth in the back is super sore. This came from no where. So I guess, I will also be jumping on some kind of meds and try to kick this pretty fast. Drinking a hot cup of coffee right now and I think I am going to go in and get some good stretching and some cardio in.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday!! Raining here so will prob. just rest and watch some football. I have $50 bet on the Pats and Denver game.I took the Pats.
