Sleep a little better still feel like ass. Head stopped up runny nose ect... it sucks.

Still very achy and a temp too! Just a shitter of a day it's ending I think(I'm hoping)

Feeling better and fever is back down this morning. Had a bit of a scare last night. Nothing compared to some.of my health issues in the past, but I wanted to relay this since everyone has the crud right now.
First off, my hematocrit was high, so I drained a pint Monday to tide me over until I can donate on the 17th. BP was just a tad high but dropped down nicely after draining. So BP was good.
I have been taking Mucinex FastMaxDM caplets like clockwork for 5-7 days now.
Noticed last night my head was pounding, I had a ringing in my left ear only (right ear doesn't work very well), vision was squirrely, and I felt like I was about to pop.
Got out the autoinflate BP cuff and checked BP. 185/139. Made a mental note to shit my pants later, waited 5 minutes and repeated. BP was virtually the same. Said "Fvck me!" and got out the old school sphygmomanometer and stethoscope that was my Mom's and confirmed it twice.
Looked up sides on the Mucinex FastMax and one of the less frequent sides was dangerously high BP and palpitations, which I had both.
I keep spare BP meds on hand and am pretty familiar with how my body reacts to a double dose of my beta blocker, so I took a double dose. Also, I have a script to calm me.down when I have the urge to throw shopping carts through car windows, so I took my normal dose of it. Just took my BP lying in bed 5 mins ago, and I am very relaxed (lol), and my BP is 114/68.
I know some of you guys are on cardiac and BP meds like me, so be extra careful with some of these cold meds. Even if you're not on script meds and your talking OTC cold meds, pay attention to your body.
I need all you "cvnts" to stay healthy so you can keep dragging me along on our little painful addiction we call HIT.
Anyway, just throwing the info out there, guys and gals.
Going back to bed and if I have no fever this evening, I am hitting legs.

Edit: I called the nurse that works for my Dr. and after I reassured her my BP is G2G now, she told me to stick with the Coricidin HBP cold meds. If my chest craps up, I am supposed to call them and they will call me an expectorant without as many crazy sides.

Nach, not sure of you're referring to a mouthpiece for lifting, but if so I almost always wear one when lifting. The best one I have found that is fairly reasonable is the Mueller. It is extra thick at the back.
I have shattered dental work in the past when lifting and these have been a huge help. I ordered about 6 of them last time I bought them and one will last me a good 6-8 months.

If you're talking about the acrylic guards you wear while.you sleep, I will say they aren't exactly cheap. The wife has needed a couple of them over the years. The dentist office does a great job of fitting them however so that they kind of snap on over your teeth and stay in place.

Arm session guys nothing major to write about. Just got in did the work and got out. Just feel like shit. Sorta like Nach said body ache and all that BS. Also seems like every other day its something for the last week and this week. Shoulder and now my right bicep just a little pain in it now. Always something last week and half.I think my body is getting tired. It needs to get where my mind is I know that. My mind is ready to fvcking get it.

Well, killed legs today. Extensions, presses then squats. Just something about squats that just mesh with my body and mind. Cranked up the Foo Fighters (Let it Die) and got under the bar. Started my set (the one for me that's either a feel set or working, I decide after a few reps to go up in weight or rep out) and it just felt great so I kept going.

Half way through I can feel my eyes getting slightly moist, like an endorphin rush or something takes over, the next gear kicks in and I can't stop. Racked it at 15 crushing reps. Nothing else needed.

Finished with Hams and calf crap.

This shit's still awesome. Even for this old fvcker.

Damn big guy glad you are so in tune with your body to have figured this out(always knew cold Meds had those types of sides but never saw it or heard of someone having it! You can't be going anywhere either I get so much motivation from you, Marcus, Kel(and the rest of you guys push me moreso than ever b/c im not posting a sh!t w/o in THIS thread!

And yes AG, the mouthpiece was surely for lifting! I grind the hell out of my teeth(even in the middle of the night) so both of these are most likely in order! Thank you for the link as well and I'll be getting my tooth pulled also on FRI!
