Legs pullback but went after it since I had this apparatus for back squats now(LEGS ITS TIME)
Fvkin A' im so pumped now!
Calves
Standing calf raises
Back squats
3 feelers w/8-10 reps - 2w higher end reps dropped it feet close ATG for 12-15+
Walking lunges(DBs)
2feelers - 3w down/back/down = 1
After feeling the difference of having the load on my back(since its been years since locking into any type of back squat or front squat... My posterior chain is weak but not as bad as I thought... ATG and good form went up to about 315 and im already more sore than any other squat day... Gonna be lots of work but im really happy for this apparatus - my legs will explode now!
So it was definitely a good session and can't wait to continue!

Close grip pull downs (palms facing)
Slow reps. ..squeezing and holding at bottom. Drop 2 times.
Wide grip seated rows. (Palms down) drop once and holding reps
Tbar rows (went to heavy last set, couldn't hold and get rep range I wanted)
High pull hammers one arm at a time

LOL, I will say my Dr. is a very sweet lady with a wonderful hillbilly/redneck sense of humor.
Yes sir, don't write everything off to work related stress, although I know you've had a bunch of that recently. Swing by the Dr. at first opportunity. There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Most gyms don't have them it's actually the strongmans(Ricky) he's got all kinds of cambered bars neutral grip bars(different angles the wider the bar gets etc) tons of different deadlifting bars too! I was a kid in a candy store all day lol
SFLA if you look at it it goes around your neck and shoulders then those bars come out in front of you - (b/c my shoulder I couldnt lock into any type of free weight squat(killing my pisterior chains support/& strength) and the weight is low like s lower back squat keeping your core activated/& strong as well!
Marcus/Kel/AG - what's your take on this set up since I have not been able to have a load directly on my back - I think there's gonna be an explosion in my leg drive and strength snd hopefully sizeLast edited by NACH3; 12-03-2015 at 11:46 PM.

I know a lot of guys with lower back issues that prefer the safety squat bar since the weight is lower down. Also some guys with shoulder issues like them due to the grips in front. Alternatively, you can hold the bar on the arms on the side where it drops down to the weight pegs; just make sure to keep the weightt pulled back toward you on the way up. Some people have a tendency to push out with this type of bar when you're coming up out of the hole which pushes the weight out in front of you. No bueno.
I think they are a great asset if you have lower back issues or your shoulders won't allow you to reach back to pull a regular bar into your body.
With that being said, if you have no issues using a regular bar, then I would primarily stick with the plain old basic workhorse bar.Last edited by almostgone; 12-04-2015 at 01:51 AM.
