They're free here. Just bait a trap, drop in the creek, drink some beer and check trap every 15 mins

Use to do it all the time when I was younger. You can learn a lot about life crawfishing on a bridge! I've been arrested, been passed out drunk, been laid, just about everything you can think of...lol

    HIIT and core

Weight was 203.4 this morning so trending back into the right direction. Hit the core and lower back really hard today. Did an really hard 20min HIIT circuit with some dead’s and plyo stuff combined. Hopeful upping the intensity will boost my metabolism back up. I’m finding it difficult to tire myself out. So I’m pushing the envelop a little more.

Crap workout. The honeymoon phase of the diet is officially over. Squated 380 lbs in December. Would be happy to get 300 up now. Naturally, I realize this is strength loss and not muscle loss, but the mindfuck is equally straining each time for me. It is ridiculously hard to get through the workouts and this part of the year the focus is always on conditioning, and that is not making it any easier. Anyhow, it is what it is. Competition season is starting on February 22, and if I do not change my nutrition before then, I'm sure it will be a wasted season. Got to chose essentially, look the way I look by then for this competition or keep going and not win this year.

    Today's workout
    Snatch Primer
    On the :90 Seconds x 3 Rounds
    2 Pausing Overhead Squats
    2 Snatch Balances
    2 High Hang Squat Snatches
    Performed at 35kg

    Snatch Practice
    7 Sets of 2 @ 45kg

    Back Squat
Build to a Moderately Heavy Single
    Followed by:
    2×2 @ 120kg
    2×4 @ 110kg
    1×10 @ 100kg

    Conditioning
    9-15-21:
    Chest to Bar Pull-Ups
    Barbell-Facing Burpees
    Overhead Squats - 45kg

Nutrition Update: Going to change my IF to a 12h protocol. While 9h is supposed to be the "best" it's not working with my workout load. So, now I can have a Power Smoothie and caffeine at 9 AM before my training. I hope this is going to help.

You read my mind. We need some fire on this thread. A visitor reads this thread and they think boring. This is an old injured man diet thread. We are body builders for God sake. Let’s start acting like it. I like all you guys but damn if we haven become complacent.

I’m about to rip the shit out of chest this morning and I’ll post a picture. It’s time we pull our thumbs out of our asses and put our work in. About two months left. I’m calling everyone of you out. Starting today I’m here to kick ass and chew bubble gum. And I’m all out of fucking bubble gum. Bring it bitches.

Actually, 16 hour fast is better, not sure where you got 9 from? Also, as I have mentioned before, try adding some butter or MCT (coconut oil) in your coffee. It’s not really fasting but it will help get you through those workouts

Your going to the gym to rip the shit out of your chest huh? Sounds like somebody's testosterone has kicked in or did you just drink 2 bottles of ensure this morning instead of 1?
Looks like we are going to have one more old guy added to the injured list this afternoon.
