Heavy back workout today, mostly hit the thickness movements but was very intense.

Got to go to see my Haematologist tomorrow for some results from bloods I had taken last week, then my doctors for other issues.

Hope you get some good numbers, boss! Hit me up after you get all of your results. I've gotten in the habit of us comparing labs and blood issues.

My standard blood work is the least of my worries mate but would be nice to see them come down out of the danger zone. Ive dropped some size for this and also reduce the intense workouts so lets hope lol.

Still having shoulder issues that I can't get to ease off. One more night of icing and band work. If it doesn't clear up, I'll skip it and work legs tomorrow night.
I tried to work chest last night and the shoulder got a nasty pain. Got disgusted and walked away. It is feeling better tonight so let's see what one more night of rest does.

Evening to all in the dungeon, not posted in a while.

First of all clarky, sorry for your lossmy friend... i hope you are coping and wish you the best. Also marcus, sfla and your father, hope you all get better soon and back to 100%.

Tonights training was a blast. Shoulders. Moved up a set of dumbells for 8 clean reps. Piece of piss with some forced and 1 neg. Could probably have managed 36kg for a few.

Also hitting 22kg dumbell for side lateral raise. Hitting it heavy and hard. I really feel this one. After this i kind of lowered the intenisty as i feel ive hurt my right shoulder a little. Moved on to heavish prone flys with drop set and then light smith machine press to finish off with shrugs.

An excellent workout and i really liked the way i looked with my pump tonight. Seperationg between my muscles look awesome if i do say so without my head swelling.

Ive put ice spray on my shoulder as i am struggling to raise it above chest height without pain. Hopefully nothing serious but i enjoyed the workout regardless.

Not trying to copy ag or anything with his injury... hope that heals well ag man haha and you are back to smashing out hard. Any recomendations whether to heat or ice? I am unsure as to what to use. I assumed heat would aggrovate swelling so thats why i chose the ice.

    Have a good night guys

Ice works better for me, Zeus. My ritual recently has been some light work with bands to get plenty of blood flowing and then follow it up with an ice pack. Usually do this every couple of days but may increase it to a daily task.
Shoulders are such a complicated joint to work with/rehab. Hope yours improves quickly!

Did 3 sets of 10 reps with a light dumbell today during PT for the bad bicep. First time. Felt great, no pain. Onward and upward! 3 x PW now as ordered and slowly ramp up the weight.

Oh, the 3 sets were with a 20lb dumbell. I still got an awesome pump.

Ok, shake downed. Going to give this a try. It may be more volume than HIT, but at least it will be an effort.

Thankyou i really appreciate it. Ill make sure to get plenty of movement in. Working 10 hours today in a warehouse lifting washing machine and stuff... we shall see how that goes. Definetly taking tonight off the gym.

I shall experiment with heat and ice to see what works.

    Cheers!

Nothing spectacular to post up but I did get some work done. Went back to d'bells tonight and that seems to treat me better? Will give that a few weeks and if it doesn't suit, I go back to b'bell work for chest.

    RC exercises with bands
    Broomstick stretches

    Incline flyes- 2 w/u, Work1- 9 reps. Drop a little weight. Work2- 8 reps. Drop a bit more weight. Work3- 12 reps.
D'bell incline bench- 2 w/u, Work1-9 reps. Drop a little weight. Work2- 10 reps. Drop a little weight. Work3 w/ parallel grip- 6 reps, drop, 5 reps. (Was down to a ridiculously light weight on the last set.
Flat flyes into presses- 2 w/u, Work1-8 flyes, 5 presses.
Was pretty much toast at this point.
Wrist curls w/ dry Oly bar palms up and palms down to failure- 2 sets back to back.

No really overwhelming pain tonight, just random niggles, but no clicking or popping in the left shoulder. May try staying with these weights (which ain't impressive) and see if I can heal up via this route. Hopefully the TRT+, Deca , and var will assist somewhat.

    44 minutes.

I like to use this recipe to make my ice packs. They come out slushy so you can kind of shape them to the injured area. Usually I keep 2 made up. It takes a little while for the mixture to set, but it will after a bit of time in the freezer.

No problem, Zeus. Just sharing something that they gave me at physical therapy a long time ago. I hope it works well for you! Just remember it takes a little while for the mixture to get slushy.
I think that's one of the really great things about this thread. Everyone is glad to share information that they have found to work for them.

Morning, everyone! Slept well yesterday for a change and my shoulder feels surprisingly good. Think tonight will be legs. Getting hot and steamy here so it should be fun.

    Leg day yesterday.

    Five minutes on stationary bike.
    Extensions: 2 working, 20 reps
Squats: 2 working, relatively heavy. First set sucked. Just felt uncomfortable and wrong. Thought about moving on but got pissed and did one more set and all went well. Got back in the groove. Amaxing how when form is slightly off on a movement it can destroy its effect.
Verticals: 2 sets, about 15 reps
Seated curls: 2 sets 12-15 reps
    Heavy calfs on vertical press
    Seated calf's.

Feeling it today so far. Gotta keep stretching hams to avoid back pain.

This evening will be my leg day. Looking forward to it! I'm finding out what you mean about the form being off on squats. If I don't hit my groove, timing, balance, even racking the bar neatly goes out the window.
