Whats up everyone!!
Trying read and catch up some.
Clarky I'm not sure what happened my friend, but prayers are sent.
Marcus, you know your the man, the myth and the legend! you will get through whatever they throw at you.
Can't single one person out with shoulder issues, but you big fcks be careful and listen to your bodies lol.
As for my update. Not sure what I have said here about post op lol, been a little out of it lately.
It's been exactly 1 week. Since day of/after surgery I have been in a good amount of pain. Haven't been able to sit up (like normally in chair type of thing) up until about 2 days ago couldn't walk without the cane.
My biggest pain and what had/has me worried is the pain in my right leg. I never had pain on this side until post op. Strings the entire leg. And painlevel when it happens is 9-10. It's bad, which is scary since never had issues with that side. So I haven't been able to stand for more the 2 mins maybe without this pain hitting. Only comfort I get is in my bed, and that's very hard.
Today might be a small break through. I am up cleaning the house. Maybe 10-15 minute intervals. Then I feel it coming and I try to beat it by laying back down.
Took dogs out for a walk (stupid I know, but they were looking at me like if u don't we are gonna shit right here) and I'm not about to bend over and clean ahit.
So took them out and I actually feel pretty good.
Hope everyone is well, looks like a lot of busy lives here. I'm always around, just quiet more now lol.

I am back guys! Trip is over. 7 full days off. Are off some, but nothing crazy bad. Had a blast. Loved the peaceful relaxing farm life. Miss it actually already.
Should be hitting the gym tomorrow. I will be back on here more after Sunday with my family leaves and I go back to normal life.
Missing you all!

Heading into work early. Should get the weekend off though, so that will give me a chance to get in a little more lifting time.

Same here, Cape. I can only login from my tablet. I login from my phone and it thanks me for logging in but never does log me in. Also getting lots of database errors.
Will post up my lifts as often as I can with the technical issues going on right now. There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Every time I make a post, I get a database error. Frustrating. I'm sure *Admin* is having a rough day.

Morning, everyone! Looks like *Admin* worked their magic and has the board issues squared away. Took it easy yesterday evening, dug out my résumé, and will start chipping away at it over the next month or so. Still a long time before work shuts down and they are having a résumé service come in and help us spit shine our résumés.
May be going back to school for a couple of semesters since they will cover all of the cost. It will just be to get familiar with the newest version of Cad and Solidworks software that they offer.
Have definitely decided to ride it out until the end as they are providing lots of incentives to do so. The only caveat would be if something spectacular popped up that I couldn't refuse.
Lots of odds and ends to do today, but after the wife and I eat breakfast and watch a movie, I'm heading to the shop to work legs. Getting back into my regular routine is a must for mental happiness.
Will post up my lift later on.
Hope everyone has a great weekend! There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Hello kelkel! Man, I've been working out, eating and playing desk jockey at work, not to mention getting geared back up to return to school. Looking for a complete career change. Like I told bio-active over in his thread, I'm a slacker when it comes to staying active in the forums but my training and dieting have been pretty consistent. In fact, just started a blast this week!
How are things going in your world, big guy?

Well, been stuck in house / bed for a week now. Driving my self crazy.
Beginning to think there is definitely something else wrong and it's just not waiting for inflammation to go down.
Completely opposite side of my original problem is in worse pain the before I even had the surgery.
I can not sit straight up at all. I try 3-5 times daily. After about 2-4 mins, I'm in incredible pain, and have to lay down for 20 mins to get rid of it. My leg / foot feels like it's on fire sometimes.
I'm walking around pretty good, but can only be in intervals of 10 mins maybe.
Follow up appointment isn't till Thursday but I am gonna give them a call tomorrow and see what they say.
I'm beginning regretting the surgery. Which sucks. Cause surgery worked for my original problem. If it wasn't for the right leg new problems. I would be almost ready to go right now.

Glad you're staying busy. Try to log in a bit more if possible! Staying consistent with nutrition and training is where most fail so it sounds like you're doing well in that area! Back to school doesn't sound like fun but no doubt the end result will be worth the effort.
I'm doing well. Only little set-back is that I got a partial tear to my bicep tendon about a month ago now. It's healing well and I'm rehabbing it. Basically have to take it easy for about 6 weeks. Other than that, training everything else like usual. All is well!
Good to see you back Odin!

Hate to hear you're injured kelkel, but sounds as if you're mending well. Thank you for the kind words of "re-welcome" and encouragement!
I did the same thing last weekend, AG. Worked myself into a nauseated pile of overheated uselessness. Live in the south all my life but manage to do this at least once or twice a year.

A little slow, but it is hot/humid without A/C in the shop and I have been hitting more volume on legs. On the other hand, it is probably good to get some sweat blasting (which I did).
1 set of crunches
Leg extensions - 2 w/u. Work - 25, rest pause, 11, rest pause, 9.
Hacks - 2 w/u, Work - 13, rest pause, 6, rest pause, 5.
Reverse hacks - 1 w/u , Work-13, rest pause, 6.
Leg press - 1 w/u, Work 1(feet wide)- 14, rest pause, 6. Dropped a little weight. Work 2 (feet wide)- 9, rest pause, 5. Drop a bit more weight. Work 3 (feet narrow)- 12, rest pause, 7.
Standing calf raises -Work1- 14, rest pause,7. Drop some weight. Work2- 11 reps.
Seated leg curls - Work - 14, rest pause, 7, rest pause, 5+ reps w/ a hold until complete failure on the partial.
Just over an hour for everything including stripping plates. Was very motivated and felt good to get back in the shop with my weights. There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

It only did it for a brief spell today and I'm not entirely sure it was an issue with the site. I'm pretty rural and my signal varies between 3G and 4G on a good day. At times, it gets embarrassingly bad...all the way down to 1x.
I had a good signal at the time but it may have switched towers repeatedly on me and the site recognized it as a network change? IDK, some of that stuff is waaay over my head. There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...
