Hi fellas/ladies, did back earlier. Went good, weight down a wee tad, diet is going ok so not full of nrg.

Low hammer row 2 sets 1 drop

Seated cable row wg 2 sets DD

    Wg pd's 3 sets

    CG pd's 4 sets

    Straight arm pd's 2 sets

Done, felt good. I like doing sets on the pd's as i feel i get more out of it.

Update. Took my MRI report (below) in with me to PT today for him to review. He feels like I do that they did not take pics high enough to capture the actual muscle tear at all and thinks it should be re-done. I agree as I want to know exactly how much or how little the actual muscle is damaged. The report they did do surely shows decades of wear and tear:

    ***************

EXAM: MRI RIGHT KNEE WITHOUT CONTRAST

HISTORY: Right knee pain after injury 2 days prior. Evaluate biceps femoris attachment.

    TECHNIQUE: Routine knee MRI protocol.

    COMPARISON: None available.

FINDINGS: There is free edge radial and horizontal oblique undersurface tearing of the body and posterior horn medial meniscus. There is subluxation of the mid body. There is a small attached meniscal fragment extending from the posterior horn toward the intercondylar notch, best visualized on images 20 and 21 of series 6. The lateral meniscus is intact.

The anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments, medial and lateral collateral ligaments are intact. There is mild tendinopathy of the distal biceps femoris tendon. There is tendinopathy of the distal quadriceps tendon.

There is cartilage thinning and fissuring in the medial compartments. There is mild cartilage fissuring in the patellofemoral compartment. There is a trace knee joint effusion and a small popliteal cyst.

    IMPRESSION:
    1. FREE EDGE RADIAL AND HORIZONTAL OBLIQUE UNDERSURFACE TEARING OF THE BODY AND POSTERIOR HORN MEDIAL MENISCUS WITH SMALL ATTACHED MENISCAL FRAGMENT AS DESCRIBED.

    2. MILD CARTILAGE THINNING AND FISSURING IN THE MEDIAL AND PATELLOFEMORAL COMPARTMENTS.

    3. TENDINOPATHY OF THE DISTAL QUADRICEPS TENDON.

    4. MILD TENDINOPATHY OF THE DISTAL BICEPS FEMORIS TENDON. NO TENDON TEAR IS IDENTIFIED.
Thank you for the opportunity to participate in the care of this patient.

Ha, yes. One of my brain, my bicep and now my hamstring. I'm working my way around my body. Nothing was found on the first one obviously.
Didn't catch that last line. Seems it was right above the doc's signature line.

Back and biceps again yesterday. Been really busy of late and only see it getting worse for me.

Training going ok, still got issues going on with RC but things are improving with my lay off and getting back into it. Still looking big which is unusual

Training is sounding good, Marcus. I'm in the same boat as you with schedule and this time of year. It won't get better for ~ another 6-8 weeks.

Morning, Clarky. Chest tonight for me. My back was in misery yesterday and kept spasming at lower back and waking me up. Finally broke down and took a script Nsiad (Voltaren), which really calmed down the problem w/o me having to take a Flexeril.

I'm not training heavy so not building much but I'm taking baby steps and enjoying it again. My work schedule is crazy and stressful at moment and finding it very hard. Also this time of year isn't the best for my stability, simular to you AG

    Shoulders and Tri's today:

Smith press: 3 sets 8 ish reps
    Laterals: 3 sets 10-12 reps
Seated old fashioned Arnold dumbell press: 3 sets moderate weight 12 ish reps. Haven't done these in ages. Felt good.
    Rear delts: 3 x 15 or so

    Pressdowns: 3 sets 10-12 reps
Overhead extensions on smith: 3 sets 10-12 reps
Rope pushdowns: 3 sets 12 ish reps twisting hands to flat at bottom (try this) kills them.

Good day. Forgot about all my other friggen issues....

Arnold curls? Is this the presses where you start with the bells ~ parallel to the sides of the skull and rotate towards the front as the bells up, Kel?

Decent lift. I think that maybe the left shoulder is just a tiny dab better. Not happy with the left arm at all, particularly the forearm and grip. Really kicking myself in the a-hole for not properly setting up for d'bell presses.
Will post lift when I can. Walked into a mess at work.
