I use dbs and go across my body feeling the squeeze of the inner chest as the contraction tightens feels great tbh.

And my inner chest is lacking tbh

Thx DCI... I actually just looked at all the variations of them(the one your referring to, was the one I am going to implement next time)! Looks great for bringing that inner chest in, deeper, and thicker, & great for your core...

    Thx brother!

Same here. I just grab an upright on my Smythe machine with the unused hand and lean out @ an angle... maybe 15-20° or so? Really squeeze @ the top of the contraction. Perfect for finishing up a chest session as the d'bell doesn't need to be real heavy.

Can you guys give me an idea what to look for when selecting a belt, and knee sleeves?

I've decided I'm not going to let these nagging pains get in the way of squats and dead lifts any more.

    Legs all to complete failure

    Warms stretching
    1. Squats(smith machine due to not being able to reach bar w/R Arm)
    2 feel 2 working DD(heavy 8-10) drops up to 15(dropping 45's on each)

    2. Leg press 1 feel 2 working DD (heavy-ish 10-12 - drops up to 15 dropping a 45, then two 45's after)

    3. RDLs w/DB 1 feel 1 working DD(lighter 12-15+)

    4. Leg extensions 1 feel 1 working DD(15+)

    5. Seated leg curls 1 feel 1 working DD(12-15)

    6. Seated calve raises 2 working 1 drop (paused at squeeze/flexion)

    Cardio 20 min @ 140bpm & abs

Totally dead! Great pump legs are so full of blood(hard to walk) I'm really liking this one BP a day!

I've not found anything to beat one of Bob's Belts. Mine is at least 25 years old and like new. I use it only for squats and deads. I have a second, lighter one for other exercises.

For knee sleeves I recently went with Ptex that I happened upon at a sporting goods store. Like them a lot. AG's wife just got a pair as well and likes them if I recall correctly.

As for belts. . They have options. . 4"? 5" back 4"front? 5"all the way around?

Mine are both 4". You don't need them any bigger nor larger in the back. The support you receive basically comes from the belt supporting your abdomen, thus your spine. My squat one is one of the stiff belts with a double prong. I would not want that one for anything other than squats or deads as stated. The other one is single prong and more pliable for daily use.

Get some other opinions as well.

    Back tonight seriously heavy session.

We where all on fire. Pushed each other hard.

    Usual warm up.

Started with T bar rows 2 heavy sets and dd back exploded from the heavy t bar rows felt like as if I was floating from the assault.

Single db rows 2 heavy sets one drop was very hard to achieve but pushed on.

Seated plate loaded 2 heavy sets and one dropset was crazy hard but great really felt unreal.

Bb bent over rows noderately heavy weight felt the squeeze and one drop was great.

Finished with hypers home to refeed back is still tight.

Does it hurt in the front(I could be wrong but I would think ACL Anterior - front - but I didn't google it)...or is it the back?

Man I hope it's not any of the three(meniscus, ACL, MCL)... MRI would show the best contrast if not bone related)...

Meniscus would make the back of the knee hurt. I've torn it three times.

Yes sir, you are 100% correct and she loves them. I bought a set for myself for use during cardio, heavy yard work, wrestling with the beasts, etc. and they are perfect. I still use my Rehbands when I need a lot of heat, but for the $$, the Ptex are a great buy!

Sh!t, was hoping it was just an irritated nerve. Don't aggravate it, but try to maintain your ROM as much as you can tolerate. I would give it a few days at most and then if it continued, I would probably hit the Dr., IMHO.
I imagine you're up on your feet at work most of the time, but try not to hustle around too much. Hope it will pass quickly, Sfla.

I preach all the time about listening to your body regarding diets, training and recovery and its about time I listened to what mine is telling me. I've tried really hard to overcome some injuries but the way I train and my mind set its really difficult to pullback properly. I am extremely frustrated when in the gym over the last 3 weeks and its really effecting me. I train so intense but my body is beat up and there's no surprizing after 30 years but now is the time to try and fix a few things overwise I am going to hurt myself.

I'm struggling with some injuries and I need to listen to what my body is telling me. I know I am pure HIT all the way but I am going to take a huge pullback to see how things go. I wont be doing any advanced protocols and I wont be training at my max. I will try and go to failure on what I can but there's going on inside me what don't feel good so I cant keep pushing to my limits.

You'll see a slight different routine when I post them up, hopefully I can get over this period once things settle down a bit and my body tells me its ready to be destroyed again

Marcus The main thing is to keep burning those calories. You already know that. You can maintain without going as intense. You just won't be making the gains you are used to but that will give your injurys time to heal. Lighting up the weight and doing this different will be a nice shock to your body and imagine how the gains will be when you can go back to the training you are used to? Good luck brother and I am looking forward to seeing how you revise your training

Hope the pullback does you well, Marcus and I look forward to reading your new lifts. I know you always say that we have to tailor HIT to suit our bodies reactions, so this is just the next progression/evolution of your training, right?

I imagine you're up on your feet at work most of the time, but try not to hustle around too much. Hope it will pass quickly, Sfla.
Thanks AG..I honestly think it's nothing. But just being safe I guess.

I have had cartilage and leigements torn in the other knee before. And I've seen so many people get knee surgeries and it never stops. Gonna take it easy on legs next week and re evaluate

I'm really excited to see this as well! It's going to very interesting the first few weeks... Possible gains?! I hope this switch up allows you to heal in a manner that you'll be able to go back to your/HIT proven ways!!!

    Best of luck, Bigg en!!!
