Alright so after a few weeks I'm gonna have to bail on the EOD gym sessions. It seems that either something comes up or I'm still too spent from the last session to keep it this regimented. So for now it's back to hitting it when I can. This means it's still 4 days per week but some sessions will be on back to back days or maybe a couple days apart.

Start my new position on Monday which means family issues will be less of a hindrance which is good and saddening all at the same time. I love the small amount of time I get with my wife and daughter in the evenings, but by giving that up for the moment it allows me the potential to better provide for them. Kind of a win lose situation for us. The financial gain will help a lot, but I'm still torn trying to figure out if its really worth the lost time with them.

Honestly if it means providing a better life for your wife and daughter. ...do what's best. Even if it's less free time with them.

You just need to.make what free time u have count!!

Also if training takes a toll or u need to cut down on gym time to spend with them. Thats what u should do.

I'm right there with you man..... I see my daughter early in the morning for an hour and a half and then 2 hours at night max.... The rest of my day is working. The gym had been so rough lately. All the traveling at work is really killing me. I don't get compensated what I should be so these trips are gunna stop.

Enjoy the time you do have..... Make it count

That's part of the issue here. With this new position on second shift the gym will take no time from them like it does now. They will be asleep when I get home or gone to work and the sitter when I wake up. It really opens up my training schedule to be more flexible. I think that's why I'm feeling bad about taking the job. I mean it's more money, which helps the family, but it opens up my training to help me reach my goals. I guess I feel a bit selfish because I'm thinking of the extra time to train without feeling like I'm depriving my family of quality time.

See man that's where I'm torn. This move will be great for my training goals. It's gonna cost me a lot of time with the family, but when you're getting by paycheck to paycheck who in their right mind is gonna turn down a near $4 per hour raise? Especially when I'm working about 60 hrs per week at the moment. That 4 bucks is gonna make a huge difference in the money coming in to the house.

    It's a no brainier man.....

I left a lucrative job to avoid legal issues down the road because of my employer. I left the field I LOVED.

I had to take a job making less than half of what I was pulling in. It was a steady job.... I did it for 18 months with a newborn on my hands. I eventually got laid off along with other workers because they wanted to save money - so they hired cheaper labor saving $4-$6 per hour per worker.

That left me on unemployment for an extended period. I'm THAT guy that refuses to live off the system..... But I also refused to jump into something I was going to hate. When you're down and out you shouldn't turn down work..... And I didnt..... But I also didnt apply to places when I could have. I was taking under the table work for a friends tree business. Low wage and hard work.....

I kept looking and eventually found my current job. It's a MUCH better salary. Not what I was making in the medical field but it supports my family. As it turns out - I'm good at it and I'm advancing quickly. I just don't think I'm being compensated enough for what I do. Unfortunately the company I work for has a "hitler" stance. If you don't like it..... You can go.

My gf just got hired and it's going to help a TON..... She's making a big step up so it won't be paycheck to paycheck anymore.

It's a great feeling when you can get your head above water man. Your choice is a no brainer...... Your family will benefit from it. You're a good father/husband.....

Its very hard juggling your life around training. Prioritise and don't disregard what's most important in your life, I did and it cost me.

My arms are smaller than they use to be but don't let size dictate to you, ive seen 17" arms look far better than mine and in this case sized doesn't matter we don't walk around with a tape measure My arms are nearly both the same size there isn't much in it, there was a 1/2" difference in the early days but I put that right along the way.

Then once again I have a question for you, sir! How did you sort it out? My l. bicep was almost 1" larger than my right back when I had my size. Would like to lessen that slightly if it becomes an issue again....and I hope it does.

Side note, I was off of work last night. The wife was REALLY wanting to go out and eat an early birthday dinner, so I set the diet to the side.....just for last night.
Going to eat b'fast in a bit, and then go grab a back session in a few hours.

I concentrated on DB work, didn't touch a BB/EZ for years just plain old DB work and would always do a extra forced rep and negative on the smaller arm, didn't take long before they were the same size but you could tell the difference anyway it was just the tape talking which all bullshit. Big arms don't always mean they look best, bf, separation and vascularity is the key unless your in a shirt all day them size does matter lol

Good lift, nice temps, back feels great.

Started w/20 min. of lower back, glutes/hip area stretching, then got to the lift.

    Total lift time= 55 min.
    Crunches-2 sets
WG pulldown ( used wide handle)- 2 w/u, Work-3.5-1.5,drop,2-1.5. Fairly slow negs all the way out to full stretch
CG pulldown( stirrup handle)- 1 w/u, Work-5-3.5-1.5, drop, 2.5. Again, slow negs out to the full stretch.
    Straightjacket stretches and toe touches
    Tbar rows-1 w/u, Work-4.5-1.5,drop,3.5-1.5
    Low pulley rows-1 w/u, Work-5-1.5,drop, 3.5-1.5-.5. Really good burn w/these.
    Rack stretches
Deads- just did a couple of straight sets of 10. Second set heavier than first. Very happy to post that I didn't have the stupid twisting motion @ top of rep. I think the massage loosened up some stuff. Going back again Mon. With a little luck I can head off/ eliminate the problem.

Also meant to post that I noticed my crunches are a good bit more comfortable with my bench seat slightly elevated like in the picture. Going to stick with it like that for a bit.

Had a great delt and arm session yesterday, and got to pop a friends gym cherry in the process. He kind of followed along with my routine, but the way we train is not what he should be doing as a first timer. I believe I'm gonna take him in as more of a " client" and start him on a simple 5x5 routine for a while so he can build a nice base to work with. Then slowly introduce some of the beyond failure techniques we use here and really hook him on this life.

Little background on him. He's a former heavy partier and 4 time DUI offender. In the past year he's quit the drink, and filled the void by running and spending late nights up with the offer to play driver to any of our friends that may have had too many and need a ride.

I've offered to have him in the gym a few times, but I suppose afraid if feeling lost he's declined. He actually contacted me about going this past week so I brought him along for my session yesterday. Come the end he was already talking about when we could do it again. With my new work schedule I can work with him, but it won't really fit with how I need to eat before a session, which is why I think treating him more like a PT client will better suit the both of us. He seems to have already been bitten by the training bug after one session and I'm excited to see where time takes him. Especially since I would really enjoy being a trainer and helping people to reach their goals with fitness.

hey guys, hows it all going.

Time to admit, ive been going shit lately, i was supposed to start my cut 3 weeks ago, im still sitting here and done nothing about it. Now im down to 6 or so weeks till my holiday.

i promised myself id start today but what do you know, woke up and start nah nah tomorrow, and i told my GF if i dont start tomorrow im calling it quits and going to keep gaining size, my motivation comes and goes to do it, i know ill look a lot bettter when i cut, but for some reason i want to keep getting bigger, getting up to 115kg then 118kg then 125kg, for some reason my mentality is like, well the bigger i get the more i feel i can protect the people arounund me, even at shopping centres now, depending on what i wear i feel big , yes higher bodyfat but i feel confident i can protect my missus if anyone tries to **** with her or me lol.

But i know deep down i have to do this cut, i wont be losing muscle only fat, who wants fat, its a pain in the arse and not exactly good for the body at the end of the day.

Im going to give myself tomorrow to start this, otherwise i dont know then. TBH im pretty high bodyfat atm, my face isnt lean and i dont have abs, still big tho.

Anyway, rant over, only person to blame at the end of the day is myself isnt it. /sigh.

Roger it seriously sounds as if it's a bad time to start for you right now. Maybe just tighten up your nutrition for now and after your holiday re-evaluate things.

Ahh you know mate, you have helped me over the months many times, especailly regarding my TRT and dialing it in for me, i apprecate it because i havent run into any problems ever since and my AI dose that you helped me with seems to be working. But regarding this issue, i have the feeling its either now or never, ive been bulking for a good almost 2 years and ive put on great size but i want to be bigger, but ive promised a fair amount of people i will get looking better, because im quite 'OFFSEASON' Puffy and watery and good amounts of fat.

I just know i need to drop a bit of it for my holiday otherwise im not going to enjoy it, i sweat a lot more, im a lot more sluggish and its a struggle getting up in the mornings becasue im carrying a lot more weight than i use to, so when i need to be up at 6-7am in the morning and get into the ocean to start the day its going to be a struggle, and im not one to ruin the holiday especailly because my GF busts her arse working 2 jobs while going thru UNI it would be very dissapoining for me to do that to her so this is a MUST, im keen as to get lean but am loving the size, anyway no more excuses it starts tomorrow and i want you guys to help keep me going.

    I f-in love this weather.

Incline flyes-2 w/u, Work-5,drop,2.5,drop,3-2.5. New weight on these.
    Smith incline press-2w/u, Work-3,drop, 1.5,drop,1.5-2-1.5-failure
    Flat flyes-2 w/u, Work-4,drop,3,drop,3-2
    Smith flat press-1w/u, Work-7-3,drop,4
Decline d'bell press-1 w/u. This didn't make my back feel right, so I switched the bench up to incline, grabbed some d'bells and banged out 6 nice reps.

Total time including tidying up =51 minutes.

^^^^ That's good stuff, Clarky! Congrats on the increase on the CG pulldowns,man...always good to hear that kind of progress.
Just got home from the massage...that girl is magic!!! My back lift was ~3 days ago, so it timed out with the massage nicely.

Going good so far fellas, im enjoying this mast/tren /test and t3 combo, took a photo today and my midsection seems to be looking leaner, may upload a pic for you guys still lot of work to do though.

On another note, ****ing women i tell you, everytime i try to even hint at having sex or anything it completely gets ignored and the subject changes, but oh no as soon as the lady wants it she fking gets it. I dont care anymore, im not contacting my GF unless she contacts me, she messaged me not even once last night which i found strange, and barely at all today. Oh well, who cares right.
