I agree! I'm gonna start just eating more C, F... An extra meal or so, and just eat bigger!!

I'm taking the day off! I don't think I could get in today w/my high intensity! Hence starting my pull back tomorrow! Still heavy but more reps in that working set, and still going to failure just no beyond failure protocols - should be fun - I know I can still gain when doing this...

Well, guys, I just started my cycle a couple days ago. I realize this is more of a workout diary thread and not an AAS thread, so I'll just say that it consists of Test P, NPP, and Anavar , and leave it at that. BTW, props to NACH and a few others here for suggesting the NPP and critiquing my cycle. Can't wait to see the results!

Anyway, my goals for this cycle are pretty much the same as my goals have always been...size and strength! I want to compete again at the end of the summer and would like to get my squat and deadlift as close to 500lbs as possible. Right now, they're both in the low 400s (not all that impressive for competition, but my squat has really come along way over the past year or so). My last bench press comp, I hit 375lbs, so I'd like to break 400 with this cycle.

I don't train exclusively for PL, so I change my rep ranges up depending on what exercise I'm doing. I like to train for size and aesthetics as well. In that department, I'm going to focus on a few different things. I want to get my chest to pop more, size on my calves, get more of a peak on my bicep (it's funny, I only started training arms within the last 5 months). I'd also like to get freaky big quads, but that ties in with just getting bigger all around, which is always a major root of my goals.

    Current stats:
30 years old (31 next Monday)
    202 lbs.
    13%bf
    5'9"

    Goals:
If I could maintain at about 210-212 after shedding the little extra fat after my cycle, I'd be happy.
~11-12% bf after shedding extra fat

Anyways, those are just rough goals and, after all, they're just numbers, so my plan is to just eat and train as hard as I can in an attempt to surpass these goals and, at the end of it all, I'll see where I end up. It's a marathon, not a sprint! I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Woody looks pretty good. How many reps are u getting with the one working and 2 drops?

Try getting 1 feel and 2 working in there. Help get to true failure.

And how were u feeling by the time u got to bis...my chest routine is similar not exact. But by the time I'm done with chest I can barely get through 10 mins of abs. Just a thought....getting to true failure is very hard...sometimes I don't even think I'm there yet.

The thread isn't just for training log, its about everything aspect of getting freaky but I must admit its rather bias towards HIT training and its principles The only explanation I can give because of this is because it builds freaks end of story and debate!! lol

Drugs, lifestyle, diet training or anything else whats bothering you can be logged here, its were the big boys hang out

Looks ok, I personally would work on a better bicep program and make sure on your working sets that failure is hit before any drops. If you haven't done HIT before then forget drops because you wont be hitting true failure, this style of training takes time to learn and time to open up the mind set whats needed to go to true positive failure

R/C exercises and broomstick. Really good lifts tonight. I made sure that I had my scapula pinched back and when I hit the bench, everything seemed to lock in perfectly. Focusing hard on the squeezing and driving through the chest on the presses.

    Incline flye- 2 w/u, Work-3,drop,6,drop,4
Incline press-2 w,/u, Work-7,drop,3,drop,5+. Was a new weight on these, but may bump it up again next time.
    Flat flye- 2 w/u, Work-6,drop,3,drop,3+
Flat press-1 w,/u, Work-7+,drop,4. New weight here also.
Leaning d'bell flyes- Only could get 6 reps. Pecs kept pulling a cramp.

    33 minutes.

Made it in for a session today with my old partner, we killed it, and I almost killed him, lol. Did back and tri's, moved some good weight and had a killer pump going. Got to use the hammer dip machine for the first time since I was here years ago, it felt awesome. Going in for a session tomorrow, probably shoulders and bi's, my buddy is scared to train shoulders with me, he knows I've been pushing them hard. Weight was up to 278 today, holding a ton of water from the vacation diet and drinking.

Thanks, Nach. The big guy pointed out that I could save myself some shoulder grief by loading up the pecs w/ flyes first to keep the pressing weights down. Also, he turned me on to super setting flyes w/ presses occasionally. I found that tecnique to be exceedingly painful, enjoyable, and productive.
I have a feeling I'll be needing wrist wraps in the near future.

In my case on chest day it's the flys that give me greif not pressing. I think it's better or is alot better as i never had any bother doing shoulders the other day so i'll see in the next few days when it's chest day.

I'm working towards it, Clarky. Still too much bf%. I'm hoping to have something I feel good about by the fall, even if it's an arm.
I will say parts of me are really growing now, but others are being more stubborn. If I get it right sooner, I'll post it up. Parts of me are heavily inked so it may all run together.
Summer is on it's way and I'm already upping my intensity and shortening my rest periods to get ready for the hot days so they won't be such a drag.

I'm trying a little supplementation myself right now, very marginal, just to get a feel for how my body ( hematocrit mainly) will react. A ridiculously small amount bumped me up 2%+ quick, fast, and in a hurry. However, that same small amount helped me through a recent sticking point. Just a matter of frequent monitoring and compensation.

Tbh by the time I get to bi's ime pretty wiped out as I feel cables are hitting my bi's and only started doing bi's with chest 2 weeks ago/so going to have to change it up...I get what you mean by true failure so even by the time I've done flat bench my chest is wiped out by the time I hit incline

I agree with the bicep routine Marcus reason it was like that this time was because my arms were already fatigued to some point...and yes hit failure ..true failure I can't really say all I know is I love the feeling of my chest ripping when ime doing my last few reps on main and the pump

I have a feeling I'll be needing wrist wraps in the near future.
Indeed, superset flyes with presses both to failure and it opens up a whole new world. Or pre exhaust is still one of my favs due to the reduce weight you do on the press ( which saves your shoulders) and the burn out on the flyes but the fiber recruitment is insane really digs deep but again its a painful training environment but extremely productive. I used these on pullbacks or just in general due to my cuff issues and what happened was I started to increase the weight on the press and then when I swapped back to press first I was super strong which kickstarted growth again, so it was a two sided win win.

if your not getting full advantage out of your bicep workout change the routine around or train arms separately, never waste rep and sets without it being productive. Now you like the feeling of your chest ripping on your last few sets sounds like your knocking on the door

Started a cycle its not much just 500mgs per week of test E, yes you heard me that's it for the time being. Been off cycle for a long time and was growing and decreasing my bf and I feel or I should know I am in a growth spurt I can feel it and not been in one of these for a long time so I am going to drop in some test. Right into my outer bicep heads each week. Wont be expecting anything insane but looking to just recomp a few things and see what happens.

The days of heavy cycling just aren't for me anymore and believe me ive done some serious stuff but in all honesty I am scared of the sides these days, had a few scares in my time and I really need to take care of my health I wont be pushing the boundaries anymore. But I so much want to go on some big numbers but I just cant do it in the position I am in with many things in my life.

I experienced the same thing and plan to rotate between super set and straight sets until I run out of plates for d'bells.

Thanks but I have the devil and angel all the time talking inside my head, the devil tells me to hit the 3000mgs-5000mgs again the angel tells me to not cycle again because I maintain what I got. I am trying to manage both sides of my multi personality but its getting hard there are so many of them

Starting my pull back today... Glad I asked about that, Big Boys! Gonna implement that/& pre-exhaust into my chest routines, and try it w/anything pressing(going last)... I was really thinking of doing this to change it up, well it now has been confirmed... As I want to slingshot back into growth(especially when I get back to pressing the same amount at end!

How long do you guys pull back(another 6-8wks, 4-6) or until you hit your numbers and back to stimulating growth! - I'm not saying I can't grow doing this - I think it's going to be a great thing for my body! Thx...

2 weeks if I recover well and work doesn't interfere. Longer if I feel beat down?

New workout tip for chest..... Atleast - it was new for me lol.

I was using the smith machine to press because overall it felt better for me. The last two weeks I've been having shoulder pain and I've been feeling the burn more in my front delts. This has been the story of my life. Over developed shoulders and an under developed chest.

Upon Ian Harris' advice (retired pro and my sisters coach) - use dumbells to pres but tilt the inside part of them in towards your chest. Making a "V" shape. Obviously not as exaggerated as a V - just slightly angle them down. Bring the dumbells down to the outside of your chest and press up but keep the movement above your mid/lower chest. Don't bring the dumbells back towards your head/face.

This piece of advice alone made a HUGE difference in how my chest feels.

    Thx for tip AG!

I also use the smith(due to my shoulders) but like how it has isolated my chest recently(closer grip - pinky on gnurl) but I that motion(V shaped w/them pointed in/down toward shoulders) is much more of a natural movement for myself... Idk if it's b/c when I come down I kinda turn them neutral(not all the way - just to keep my elbows in more) then press and turn out(palms up and out) Very nice movement and does make a difference...

Note* sucks that I can't keep my elbows out more just can't w/the R...

Ive no need to do it, ive done it and more isn't always better but ive experimented with many things in my early days. I can grow on 500mgs, I can grow on just my trt. To many people reply on gear and I was one of them and it just doesn't fit my lifestyle now, coming off was the hardest things ive done. Ive risked to much of my health for crazy arsed dosages and its not worth it.

I've experimented a lot with different cycles, compounds and dosages and like many know I'm a big believer in short burst cycles and in my younger days when I was bulking I would use some large dosages. The most I've used was around 5g per wk of AAS plus 15 ius of Hgh. Newbie’s shouldn't think these types of dosages are needed because they aren't and it was just a experimental phase I was going through, honest. I will confess I did use to use a lot of AAS and my health does concern me as I grow older and that’s why I took my foot off the gas. It’s amazing how much tissue you can maintain by intense training and diet alone, I thought I’d lose far more but I haven’t. I wouldn’t go down those extreme routes again my time building and getting bigger is over, it’s all about maintenance.

If I went on a cycle what is my sweet spot dose which was around 3g's I would blow up and the life I am in now I just cant explode like that, its hard now but if I put on another 20lbs it just wouldn't be good for me and the risk's are not worth it. I'm bigger than anyone who I know or comes up to me, well that's a lie my friend is bigger but other than that no one comes close so I don't chase size anymore. I would use test as my base and always high, I am not a guy who ran it low all because of 19nor's I would run it high and control the sides and I would everything else high along side it. I was advised by Paul Borreson which was DY's chemical coach before he hit big time but Paul is dead now he wasn't a well man and what I would class insane but a genius at the same time.

5g's wasn't rally good the sides over took the benefits, my sweet spot was 3g's plus 15ius of hgh, usually I would use test, tren and winny, test deca and drol, test and drol, prop mast var, you want me to go on???? ive used it all in every combination going I was stupid and completely obsessed and it destroyed everything what was precious in my life but I wouldn't change a thing. I wanted to be a big cvnt and I am a big cvnt so fuk it.

Please no one think more is better its not.

Designing the perfect stack for you is what you should aim for, do this by looking back over your cycles and designing the beast of a stack what works but remember its not what you out into your body what makes the man, its whats in his heart and sole to succeed whats makes the difference.

    Ive waffled to much now
