Well I haven't been around because things got crazy. You know I had to finish that house for the 4th, my wife and I separated a week or so before that. That week up to the 4th was one of the most insane weeks of my life. I was trying to take care of the house/pets/food and work 12 hour super high pressure days without cracking. The house went well, I actually used work as a way to clear my head, I just focused on that and that alone. Then I would just train, cook and house chores and there wasnt any time left, I would just pass out and do it again the next day. That Monday after the fourth my boss was kind enough to tell me he had no big houses to do and I was getting laid off. So here I was , about to turn 42, no wife, no job. I can really fuck things up. My wife and I ended up having some really intense talks, totally putting everything out there. Being together for 14 years and no kids is very hard, theres no buffer, nothing between us, just her and I. We drifted apart, grew kinda cold, our marriage was more of an arrangement. But we agreed we need to constantly work on it, date nights, she's going to visit her Mom in Florida for a few weeks at a time a couple times atleast a year. You we be surprised how time away from each other is good for a relationship........well at least mine We are back together and things are good, Im still unemployed but I know God has something good planned for me, I just have to keep my faith. So all in all things turned out pretty well, training is great, Im in the best shape since competing, now that Im not working my diet slipped a little, Im not pre cooking as much, I have to get back in that groove, but things are good.

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate our friendships
Wow BG, that is a rough patch. Happy to see you have the mental fortitude to keep it together. Even though I almost never post in here I constantly come here for inspiration from all you crazy mofo's and reading stuff like this just shows that we all just have to keep grinding sometimes. Sounds like you both are working hard to make it work and I wish you nothing but the best!

Good morning everyone. BG & Marcus, continued best wishes. Nach, hope you aren't pushing things & are resting/healing.

On a lighter note - due to my own RC issue, I have really backed off of the volume of my front & lateral deltoid work. And wouldn't you know it; even with the decrease volume (but not intensity, courtesy of drop sets), they just might be responding better than other body parts. . Have you guys ever experienced something like that

Hey guys, I have a question. I'm a little past mid cycle and finally seeing the kind of results I've been waiting for. I'm only running 375-400 mg test e per week. Been on trt for about 8 months now so I guess I'm blasting. Anyways, I've been doing Yates blood n guts routine and have managed some tendon pain/tendinitis. The pain is not too bad actually while I'm in the gym and I've incorporated the use of a tendon strap. I feel like I can take it but my question to you all is, should I stick it out and push or drop back to cruise and allow to heal?

You can stick the cycle out, imho, but definitely avoid any exercises that aggravate it. Deep seeded inflammation is very hard to eliminate. Ice it after workouts as well as NSAID's. A benefit of elevated T levels is also an anti-inflammatory effect. I assume your pain is either your radialis or patella tendon?

Yes sir, but it doesn't happen consistently for me. I usually stick with the low volume until it quits responding and either go for a pullback or bump up the volume slightly depending on how I feel. If I'm feeling burnt out and not responding, I opt for the pullback.

Sounds like a good one, Clarky. When I did go to a gym that had a pec dec, I always looked to see if any of the machines had slightly longer arm pads. I used one with shorter pads and absolutely wrecked my elbows (all of the stress hit my elbows instead of my pecs).
If cable flyes are giving you grief, I'd set them aside for a bit and see if it clears up. You know how aggravating joint and tendon issues can be.
Defo like the sound of the lift though. Sounds like.you whooped it straightaway and got it done.

Thanks kel! I have really been enjoying the workouts as of late and was a little worried I may be pushing too hard. The last time I had this issue I backed off and regretted it. I appreciate your response.

Thanks mate, it only give me jip on some movements. It's not the joint it's just down a wee bit about 2" down and to the left of the forearm.

Mmm...Depo-test. Headed towards the house, looking forward to.tonight's lift. Probably going to be hot. It was 82°F @ ~ 10:30pm last night. Oddly enough, my biceps are still a tad sore from 4 days ago and my traps and shoulders are still feeling it from 2 days ago. Amazing how much deeper increased time on negatives digs into recovery.

went well, one day compound movements ie pressing the next day sides, rears and traps. Really helped but only done one workout like this but was very short hard and intense so it wouldn't put to much strain on my body.

That's always been the problem for me is getting thru all the movements w/out short changing some other part of my delts... Your breakdown was very interesting as I wouldn't be able to really press and then do my accessory work either on other smaller muscles(hence why I went with pre-exhausting my delts)

Are you going to stick with pressing first or switch it up sides/& rears to pressing next etc

With my bum shoulder I super set every exercise, then Im able to keep the weight down, but still fatigue the muscle enough. I break it up into muscle groups, keeping the super set exercise working the same muscle the first exercise hit. Then once Im warmed up 100% I go into my presses. I do rear delt work on a separate day to insure I work them as much and as hard as the fronts. Its easy to destroy the fronts and be tired and not give the rears their justice. Also when I do rears I add in my "rear" trap work, this has worked very well for me, my shoulders are much bigger/defined and my shoulder is strengthening helping my issue thus allowing much better chest work outs. Theres my 2cents

This I what I was doing and also making progress(lots of S/S's - switching up rep ranges depending on the muscle group I'm working) very intense and very short rest periods... I switched my rear trap work on back days w/heavy shrugs and other accessory movements(and rear delts sometimes) as they're being hit anyway(indirectly) so I really hit my rears whenever I can isolate them(with delts/or back) and going off of how my body is feeling as well as responding to the stimuli that day!

    Gotta question fellas

I seem to be a lil more run down and I'm having more joint pain than usual(knees and both shoulders and hips)... Is it possible an infection can do this?

It's in the same spot as all my past procedures & I'm now thinking it's been active for longer than it may seem to be... I see the surgeon tomorrow is there anything you guys would bring up that I may be missing?

    Thanks guys

Ahh mate, what about infectious Arthritis ??? Bacteria, viruses, or fungi may spread through the bloodstream or from a nearby infection into a joint, causing infection.

    Just a thought Nach..

That's what I was thinking, too, Clarky! Hopefully the infection is still localized. I remember when I tore my quad they were worried about infection spreading to my knee(which started making me think)... The arthritis is surely in both my shoulders I gotta break that scar tissue up as much as possible - thx buddy!

I'm gonna continue digging and if anyone else has anything to chime in It'd be greatly appreciated
