Like I tell some of the people at the gym being in shape and working out is great but you still can live a little a bit whether it is a cheat meal or a couple of cocktails now and then.
Now I will agree if you planning on going on stage that is probably a whole different story.
I eat what I want on Friday and Saturdays. I'll probably never be under 15% bf but I've lost 70lbs since June doing this

Wow 53! Do they have handles around the benches in the gym like handicapped toilets for people that old?

I think we'd all appreciate handles around the toilet for after leg day. ;p

I had planned to start back working out this week, but life interfered once again. This week was already very busy for me with work, and my dad fell Sunday and had to go to emergency room. Turns out he has a severe ut infection caused by a enlarged prostate. They moved him to ccu yesterday. He is 75, 320 lbs and doesn't have the strength to get out of the bed.
On a plus side, my bf is steady coming down. When I got back serious about working out and diet June 8th, I set a goal to be 18% bf by the following June. My bf at the time was well over 30%. All week it has consistently been low 19's, and got in the 18's this morning. I'm gonna bust my goal wide open, I am happy happy happy!!!

Played golf yesterday, definitely need to practice! Didn’t even keep score but did find my swing towards the end.

Today, hit the levee by the Mississippi River where the wind was kicking my ass!

Down 20 lbs as of this morning.(did refeed last night)
Showing more vascularity but starting to get that mental thing going on that I'm shriveling up when I look in the mirror. Definitely can tell clothes fit different than Jan 1st

Getting used to EAC stack and feeling better on it last couple of days.
Extreme sweating during workouts, sleeping and randomly throughout the day.

Strength is through the roof, never gained strength like this while trying to lean down.

Definitely not getting ripped but seeing some changes, gaining strength and feeling awesome.

Back is a not 100% yet but I can power through full workouts anyway.

    Off day yesterday,

    Shoulders and cardio today:

    Superset drop sets:
Lateral raises, into bicep curls to pushups
    4 sets of 10

    Shoulder press:
    3 sets of 10

    Conc curl:
    3 sets of 10

Mix or lunges and body weight squats to keep Hr up:

Comments: pretty good workout, I’m trying to get my right shoulder to stop barking at me so I didn’t hit it to hard on that respect. Will go back tonight and get an hour of cardio in.

Edit: Got one hour of stair stepper in, haven’t ever been able to do the stair stepper that long.

Thanks, but I don't have a chance to win this one. My weight and bf has gone down, but so has my muscle mass. Still, I'm really happy with where I'm at considering all the set backs I've had.

Thanks for the prayers and wishes guys. Dad is a little better tonight, they turned his ventilator down to 40%, and he's starting to breathe some on his own

Struggling with the fact that round two of part one is tomorrow and I technically need to carb-up today to be ready tomorrow. But carbing-up two days in one week would seem to set me back in this competition. Got a bit of a choice to make here.

Not sure what you fellas were up to last night but I and my wife had our first child free night in a LONG time and took the opportunity to cook some great food, have wine and spend time. Will never fully understand how I got as lucky as to get that girl to marry me.

Thanks man, he's much better this morning, considering he died yesterday. His white blood cell count is almost back to normal, and they they took the ventilator out and he's on cpap.

Your a better man than me. I usually do an psuedo HIIT version changing the speeds every 1:20 on the stair stepper, but there is no way I could last for an hour.

It wasn’t HIIT, no way on the stair stepper. I did mix in some intervals during the hour to keep my body guessing.

Saw one of my cousins at the hospital yesterday, he said I looked pathetic and need to stop losing weight. He's 6'6", at least 500lbs, don't think I'm gonna take his advise...lol

I am falling behind, have not lost or main many gains lately due to the new job but diet has been good. Wife did say I am much harder than I look and asked if I would try to go for the men's health look over the muscle guy at the gym look again. Tired some new clothing on today and size 36 is was a little big. Have not been under 36 in years. I think HS I was a 34. Feeling good, looking good. Thanks for the motivation!

PSA - BEWARE THE FAT PUSHERS! These clever people have been disguised as cute little girls pushing cookies everywhere including ringing my doorbell. They say they are "Girls Scouts" but they are nothing but hey I am cute so buy this stuff from me that will make you FAT. I have already been taken twice by these clever dealers this year. You have all been warned!

I still need FR for work and the cold season might not be over so I made sure I could wear long johns under them. Great job on the 34. They were a bit tight on me where the 35 (who knew they made those) fit perfect with a belt....I am waiting on spending more money on clothing. I am a cheap ass according to my wife and kids.

LOL, I went with my wife to her appointment for her botox and whatever else she had done. The same doctor writes me whatever I want and he told me about the new shot that will cure that turkey neck for men. It eats up the fat and is supposed to also tighen up the skin. He said it will take 2 to 4 times at only 1K per visit. Fuck that, I would rather get a new set up boobs and boob lift for her than worry about my neck. He is a plastic surgen so I am sure after those shots he would say there a some procedure to fix what those shots do not do.

I should have been a plastic surgeon.......if the only medical school was cheap and I was so much smarter.

I've always had a small waist for my size, plus I wear loose fit. I wore 38's when I was 290!

this is why its so damn hard to buy or order clothes if you lift.. guarantee you Target does not design pants for 290 pound guys that only have a 38" waste lol.

I just ordered a pair of joggers. I went precisely off the sizing chart and ordered the 32" inseam and the 29" waist. I guess they didn't figure a guy with a 29" waist would have 17.5" calves. I tried putting them on, if I would have forced them I'd of ripped the lower legs off.
I ended up giving them to my 15 year old 100 pound daughter .. wtf, they come up with these sizing charts!!

You guys make me remember when i was overweight, i refused to go above 38" waist, so I had to buy the pants with elastic waistband that would expand. LOL
Both of you have come a long way!
