almost time to go crush delts and traps. I feel a killer session is about to happen..... I'm crazy full today. It's as if I'm pumped already and the only thing I've lifted so far was the fork to my mouth

Not enough admittedly. .8 gallon roughly. Need to cut some coffee out and switch to water in mornings.

What's everyone's current split.. I switch up again a few weeks ago:

    Day 1: legs/abs/lower back
    Day 2: shoulder/traps
    Day 3: arms
    Day 4: back
    Day 5: chest

I'll take off a couple days somewhere in there.

Just wondering, after eating clean for so long, does the sudden introduction of carbs play hell with your guts? I know you were manipulating carbs for a contest, but if I suddenly had to throw that many carbs in, the stage better have a toilet handy.

Hey Igi... I was doing 2on 1off and then hopped 'on' and seemed like I could go 3-4-5 on but it's starting to wreck my shoulder - Since my weight is fluctuating too much I'm starting this after tomorrow

    Arms
    Delts/traps
    Off
    Back
    Chest
Off or LEGS then off - depends how I'm feeling

    - body weight abs 6x wk - but what's your guys take on weighted ab exercises?? My bricks are not coming together like I want - it very well could be the many surgeries cutting thru my ab wall right down the center... So I may not beagle to bring them together(my ventral hernia is right in the center of my stomach)??

I'm trying to bring my delts/traps up so that's why I dropped my chest day back as its a stronger BP for me...

@AG I feel the same - after eating clean then anything w/sugar or those types of carbs I feel sick after I eat

    Well..... Today's workout sucked asshole.

I went to retro fitness instead of my regular gym. It's a lot closer and I'm pressed for time today because I've got tanning people coming over to tan my sis.... We gotta take videos and get em to her coach..... Gotta prep meals and everything else for tomorrow.

So there I am.... At retro fitness..... Surrounded by old women and young kids. Every machine was geared to the inexperienced. I looked out of place..... It was almost uncomfortable. I Wasnt the gym buddy with everyone..... More like the "gym dick" - everyone was staring but not saying a word to me.

I did a very basic workout and left that shit hole..... Never going back

I still went heavy but I cut it a bit short.

MIlitary press with 185 to get the blood in the delts.
    Side laterals
    Cables
    Front raises - underhand
    Rear delt machine
Shrugs on a modified smith (behind back)
    Alternating dumbell shrugs with 110's

I could have had a much better workout but it was just so uncomfortable. I don't mind people looking but having all the older women in there just felt weird lol

I'll typically do weighted ab/oblique/low back training with leg day and then hit some body weight ab movements on arm and/or back day.

What were the surgeries for if you don't mind me asking? All ventral hernia related? Doesn't sound fun.

It spewe'd out of me, white liquid. I r an back, told my wife I was good and went right out on stage.

On the way home I ate 3 burger King burgers, fries, chicken fingers and a shake. My wife woke up I was going 100mph. She asked why I was going so fast and I told her I was about to shit my pants. Horrible, but the next day I was better.

Gotcha . I know a sudden burst of carbs can wreck me. A dang KK donut messes my insides up.
I couldn't imagine trying to focus on the fine details for a show, plus the normal pre-contest jitters, and a sudden influx of carbs. It would be no bueno.
I can empathize with the 100 mph dash down the road. I remember quite some time ago (~ 8-10 years ago) the wife and I were going going to a fish fry, and I decided to lift before we went. I generally have a post lift shake and my sister in law had just given me a tub of protein....soy protein.
Hell, I never had used soy before, but man, I drank the soy shake, grabbed a shower, and off we went to the fish fry. I probably didn't even eat one piece of fish ( deep fried of course which isn't usually in my diet), and BAM, the soy hit.
LOL, I remember flying down the road punching myself in the leg trying to stay focused and NOT relax. If I had sneezed or coughed, that would have the end of those particular underwear and jeans.

I could have had a much better workout but it was just so uncomfortable. I don't mind people looking but having all the older women in there just felt weird lol
I'm surprised they had 110s. There is one semi-decemt gym about 40 minutes from the house that has a usable setup. The rest are like some kind of hybrid cross fit/ spinning class emporium. Marginal d'bells, the people don't sweat, they perspire, etc.
That's one positive about my lifting in my shop. My sweat, my blood, my music, my foul language.

What were the surgeries for if you don't mind me asking? All ventral hernia related? Doesn't sound fun.
I flipped a car 6x into a house landed me in coma for 45+ days/shattered spleen(removed) and have had 5 total ventral hernia repairs... Got infected and didn't close for two yrs had to keep packing it w/this antibacterial string!

I think this has something to do w/my abs(bricks) not coming together?!?!
