Yip... I'm thinking(hoping) I just re-tweaked it(as its in the same spot as it was)!

Just gonna keep a close eye on it! If needed I'll go get it checked(but my primary is catching on - last time she asked if I was on test lol - it was an appointment getting a referral to an Endo - it was a lil while back)

Skipped chest today (trying to heal) and trained arms. Went well. Not doing chest allowed me to hit tri's a bit harder as the pec-delt inflammation thing wasn't aggravated which allowed me to push harder. So they felt nice. Veins were decent in arms today so I snapped a pic to share. Here's a leg one too from a couple days ago but it's a bit grainy and obscures definition. For ridicule:

That's just not right kel....damn lol.

    Back from shoulders

    Warm ups

Db press 3 warms, 2 feels (one was going to be working but got 10 reps went higher) 1 working at 90#s!! Ask for spot was turned down once again. So I said screw it and went for it. Struggled getting them in the air but once I got it up, I nailed 8 reps. Felt great. Dropped to 75s got 3 more reps.

One arm db laterals 1 feel 2 working 1 drop

Ez bar upright rows super set into ez bar under grip front raise. 2 working

    Reverse hammer press 2 working

Face pulls 3 sets, still feel like I'm not doing it right...

Bent over db laterals 2 working.

Wanted to get some shrugs in but everything was taken and db area was way to busy. Might get them in tomorrow on back or just skip it.

    Felt good today though

Edit: Kel, I showed the wife the pics you posed up and asked her how old she thought you are. She guessed you were in your 30s.
Instead of covering up my arms, I'm going to try to use your pics as a motivator.

Drinking a shake and then going to work arms. After seeing Kel's pic, I feel the need to put on a long sleeve shirt to cover up my "pipe cleaner" arms.

Appreciate all the positive reinforcement guys and girls. I post pics now and then for several reasons. It helps motivate me (selfish) and hopefully it helps motivate all my friends on this thread as well. Most important point if I can throw it out there, is that age doesn't matter. Progress can be made at any age. Yes, you have to adapt your training as you get older, improvise and get a little smarter as well. But it's not a bad thing which is not always easy with stubborn body builders.

All that said, if you make it a lifestyle, something positive and not a chore, you'll reap great rewards that will pay you back for a lifetime. Just don't rush things like so many young guys do. For me, and I've said this many, many times here, reducing the frequency of training, increasing the intensity (HIT) and increasing rest periods has done wonders for maintaining quality muscle as I've aged.

I have a low grade fever - it's gotta be an infection... I'm looking for antibiotics but I'm allergic to sulfalamides.

Fever is just under 100... What if the infection is actually in the muscle??

I've been thinking... W/out my spleen my immune system is always working overtime - white Ts are most likely elevated to the point if I went to hospital they'd admit me... when they run bloods they won't be looking for anything right... Only thing is it's right near an inj site(I noticed a bruise - which is weird considering I took at least 45s a ml if not longer - but I did bury it pretty hard - went back in notes and it's noted.

    Chest:

Incline DB 2 warm up sets, 75 x 10 and went right for the 120's. 120 x 6, 120 x 6, drop to 75 (I know it's a big drop but it was pretty on the money as I could only push 6. Probably could have grabbed the 80-85's)

    Decline hammer strength 115 each side x 12, 160 each side x 6, 160 x 6, drop to 115 x 6, drop to 90 to failure.

Flat bench flys: 45's x 10, 55's x 6, 55's x 6. After each set, repped out DB presses with weight parallel to my torso (same position as fly movement).

    Seated cable flys to failure.

    20 mins cardio.

Ate great today. Big breakfast, 1030 meal, lunch, 330 meal, pwo meal, big ass dinner, then a shake a little bit ago.

    Ready for legs tomorrow.

Ive got polycythaemia and my haematocrit level is at the range were I could have a stroke. He's done an emergency referral and should be having a venesection. My creatinine and liver values are just out of range but suspects I may be dehydrated and my lifestyle could be to blame. My test levels are off the chart and he wanted me to stop my TRT for 4 weeks but hopefully I persuaded him not to but I am not to sure, I have to have my test levels done one week before my next injection. He had to examine me so when I took off my coat he's face changed. he also wouldn't give me my results he said don't worry about them they are very high and your RBC is at a very dangerous level of concern.

If it was that bad he would of told me to go to the hospital or I hope so.

Don't drink or smoke and workout lol last cycle was 500mgs and my bloods are fuked. Amazing !!

Polycythaemia can be diagnosed by carrying out a blood test to check the number of red blood cells in your blood (red blood cell count) and the amount of space the red blood cells take up in the blood (haematocrit level).

Keep us posted please. Doesn't sound good, and you may have to listen to your doc on this one. Last thing anyone needs is a stroke. Hope they figure it out quickly. We need you healthy, big man.

This is what I struggle with, Marcus and also the clotting disorder (Factor V Leiden). The only way I've had any success managing my hematocrit/packed cell volume is donating @ every chance and self bleeding. Of course. I have a CBC pulled before self bleeding because although I can tell when my hematocrit is high, it isn't a good indicator of hematocrit value.
My hematocrit was in the 52%-53% range before any TRT and after I hadn't cycled in years. My highest hematocrit value to date has been 58%. My Dr. knows I keep a close check on my hematocrit and is wiling to write me a script for a therapeutic draw when it is necessary. I try not to ask her too often and I suspect she knows I am self managing my hematocrit issues.
I have been able to manage it but it does require vigilance. If I can help you out with questions, just give me a yell. Not sure if I'll have an answer, but I have been dealing with this for quite some time.
Did he specify polycythemia or polycythemia vera? Also, does Mrs. Marcus ever make mention of you snoring a lot or that you sound like you are struggling to breathe while.you are asleep?

Maybe listen to the doc big man but i hope you get this fixed quick

The snoring is sometimes an indication of obstructed breathing which can lower your O2 levels, which tells your body to crank out more red blood cells. Some people with sleep apnea get positive results from a CPAP device. Generally, they will do a sleep study to determine this.

Yep.... My father has sleep apnea..... My grand father has it also. I was fine with sleeping until I put weight on.... Now I snore terribly.

Maybe take a low dose of aspirin in the mean time and get rid of some blood. Keep us posted on your progress mate!

Well guys/gals I'm gonna head to the Drs office(hope I can walk in early enough and show em so I can get some antibiotics) I've been taking Tylenol since no antibiotics have been on hand... My fever is gone now... But I suspect it's just b/c of the acetaminophen....

Should I just say it just popped up sorta like staff?!?! I've not been in this situation b4... I think just the antibiotics will hopefully take care of this!

    Wil keep you all posted!

If you have a visible rash you should explain to him what happened. They should want to know exactly what it is so they know what to prescribe. What works on a standard infection won't work on something antibiotic resistant like mrsa.

Haz the only reason I said staff - was b/c I've had mrsa and am a carrier - but also allergic to sulfalamides to which bactrum is usually prescribed(or ciro(?) it starts w/a C is very powerful) & am allergic - Clendomyiacin or vancomyiacin works great!

The rash has reduced very much so over night, still there but much lighter(visibly) - no temp ATM either

Haz - what did you mean by telling them what happened - tell em I pinned lol
    Well b12 I'll say
