If you get any bruising on that quad, don't screw around with it. That's why I've been doing Jefferson squats regularly before hacks and reverse hacks. Still do leg extensions first though.

    Good morning hitters happy Thursday!

Good leg training today. The knee was a little sore but nothing more. Looks like I dodged the injury

It's redish... But not turning colors(yet)... Could I be hitting the same spot(or around on my quad too much)?! It's the second time it's happened in a few months after pin day)?? The hormone is not crashed nor crystallized nor is it have any swirls? I think I'm injecting too quickly sometimes... A full barrel in too less of time ;/- I inow better!

I've been doing lots of Jeffersons & split legged static lunges w/bar horizontal at front of hamstring - to warm up b4 hitting deads and hacks - but I was showing this person on a hack squat how to hammer your quads(3aside which is light) but I went all the way down and in the negative it popped! Almost like scar tissue tbh... It's a tad swollen but icing and keeping NSAIDS in me!

Thx and always appreciate your feedback AG!

You may be developing some.scar tissue in that area if you're hitting it too frequently.

Oddly enough I rotate between 6-8sites... But have noticed a 'soft spot' right where my pocket would be... I'll give them a break for sure - and just do delts/tris/pecs/glutes!
    Thx, big guy!

Just for shits and giggles, give that area a little extra attention with your roller and some stretches for several weeks. It might help you avoid a setback. Good luck with it, Nach!

Hey Haz when you get a chance shoot me a msg regarding pinning bis(mine are surely thickening so I'm wanting to add injections in there!

Marcus don't hold back on me - I'm just nervous regarding the angle(I know not straight down) but a circle would be nice

Find the vein that runs down your bicep..... Next find the bone. Pin between them.....

I flex and find where my peak would be and mark the spot and then relax and pin

I go in from the side away from any veins, I also do a curl with my arm but I don't tense it then I pin and inject in this position. Massage and stretch and go and train them. I use to inject both heads with a few ML each head, you may want to work up to that though

Thanks Big Man! So when you flex your bicep you want to hit the middle of your peak, correct?!

Yes the middle of the head from the side is good, you can also do the lower or upper aswell but the middle is probably the best area. The inner head is more tender

Three strong evening workouts this week, arms and cardio just a while ago. Digging Advil P.M., gives me a solid, pain-free night of sleep. Off day tomorrow, I see a thick filet-mignon cooked bloody as hell in my future.

Glad to see everybody still going strong.

I got sick again - bronchitis. bad case. Once that was finally over (6 weeks, started in early march) I now have pneumonia so between the 2 I will be out of the gym for 3 months I imagine. Already been away for 2 months now. I expect the Pneumonia to last 2-3 weeks. I can't go back to training until i can breathe as normal again. i am currently getting an O2 blood saturation of 90% and that will get a little worse before it gets better. That's why I disappeared from the board again in March.

Stay motivated. You guys keep me motivated. I have been trying to train at home. I have a pair of dumbbells that are the screw type ends and I can change up the weight of each one so there isn't much I can't do at home. I can do just about any exercise with a pair of dumbbells as i can in the gym. The only problem is that my endurance is garbage since I can't breathe and my lungs are at 90% capacity. But it has kept me from losing too much. I am down about 20lbs but some of that is fat. I'll get it back, naturally, before I go back on any kind of cycle. I had to go off completely because treatment included powerful corticos. I did not want to be on prescription corticos while taking AAs so when I found out I had bronchitis I did a fast track PCT. I didn't lose much because I was on HCG the whole time on my last cycle. I doubled the usual doses of SERMS and halved the time I usually use them. Turned out fine.

The corticos made me shrink rapidly but it all came back on it's own once off them. Interesting trip down cortico lane. I had never taken oral corticosteroids. I thought it was interesting that the effect on my lean mass was temporary. Most of the size I had came back once they were out of my system and I haven't even been lifting because of the not being able to breathe thing. And I am also not on any AAS. So the catabolic effect of corticosteroids is not permanent on lean muscle tissue. At least not in me. i can't speak for anyone else of course.

What a roller coaster this past ew years has been for me. ost 50 lbs when I got pancreatitis 2 years ago, gained all of it back and more, then took a voluntary but unwanted break for 4 or 5 months or so, gained it back, then got this shit. I'm becoming an expert on gaining back lost tissue. lol.

I prefer the constant growth method better though!

EDIT: In case anyone is wondering, the exact corticos were Prednisone, Fluticasone and Salmeterol(Advair), when that was not effective enough they gave me Methlyprednisolone 4mg 6 times per day, then 4, then 3, then 2, then 1 on a taper down schedule. This all took me from what was by then 215 down to 171. I was not eating though either because that was when I was sickest. I an now back to 205 at about the same BF% I was before I got sick. I gained that back without any weight training, just good clean food, about 50g of protein powder and milk, and my usual OTC vitamin/mineral/support supplements which I have taken throughout this whole sickness ordeal. Fluticasone is actually classified as a Glucocorticoid, which means it also acts on glucose metabolism as well as acting as a corticosteroid. I lost 60 lbs in 6 weeks, gained 40 of it back without even weight training, just eating my usual diet I eat when I am training. I think that is very interesting.

Turned last night into a cardio night ; good solid 35 minutes of boring @ss treadmill. Decided tonight would be a better time to work my back since I'm off. Probably watch a movie with the wife and the beast late tonight/ early morning and hit the shop for a back session early Saturday morning.

Oddly enough tho - it's very weird as it's no where near my inj site?! I hit where you would - where the pocket would be(high and to the outside) but the redness & swelling are over my tear drop?!?!

    Legs-Quads

Mrs.BG came in today. She's back to training hardcore, Im thinking this winter if she's holds through the summer she will come train with me again.

Back squats-Pyramid up to 405 then back down. Keeping form tight.
Legs press-Inverted, feet low med close, 3/4 pump reps
    Front extensions
    Calves

KIlled it, I was soaked through and through.

Everything was impossible until somebody did it!

    I've got 99 problems......but my squat/dead ain't one !!

It doesnt matter how good looking she is, some where, some one is tired of her shit.

Light travels faster then sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Great place to start researching ! http://forums.steroid.com/anabolic-s...-database.html

Good to hear the wife is doing better!
Absolutely love the non-lock pump reps on the vertical leg press. Get me sore as hell. Did them on Wednesday myself.
