Agreed. Art can be ridiculously expensive. The art we have is small in number & only things that speak to us.

Please share if you move on the piece, that is if you don’t mind, TY.

I hit my personal interim progress goal of 12 lbs in 2 months...Halloween, Halloween party, week vacation, thanksgiving debacle plus several other opportunities to eat off plan so I am thrilled!!!!!

Today I’m 6 lbs higher than my lowest low after joining this board.

12 more in 2 months is my next interim progress goal. I know this may be difficult with Christmas, vacation, NYE.. I’m going to let my body figure it out and this does feel like a number to start training.

If I was to lose a total 36 from October start,I would be 9lbs above my LBM. This seems unobtainable and unhealthy for maintenance weight.

Chest tonight gonna keep it simple. Flat db incline db flies and KK special db standing flies and barbell to finish just light weight to get the strech on the muscle fascia.

    In aware of scale!

I’m tracking everyday so seeing trends...including water intake, skip meals (gain). If I lose 6 in the next 2 months I’ll be ahead of most!!!

    Thanks for the encouragement!

Congrats on the progress GGR. I missed the origin, may I ask what the end goal is?

Hey boys and girls. Man, can’t seem to stay dialed in here for some reason, but that’s because life is good and busy. Went for a vertical hike instead of legs today, to get some real life real time quad work in. Nice steep desert trail which easily affords 50-60 min round trip and steep enough to make you suck wind in a huge way. I can hardly look at gym cardio these days and especially after a hike.
Starting a new recomp phase and will post up once dialed in. Life is good! Hope it’s the same for all of you. Holidays can be a bugger, but I choose to look only into now and the future, leave the past alone, and enjoy my family. Cheers

Finally made some blood move this morning.

    Cable side laterals- 2 w/w, Work 1- 11+, rest a minute, Work 2- 8.
    Reverse flyes - 2 w/u, Work 1- 12 reps, drop a bit of weight, Work 2 - 8
    D'bell press - 3 w/u, Work 1- 8 reps, Work2- 7 reps
    B'bell/d'bell shrugs superset - 2 w/u, Work 1 (front),10, drop a little weight, Work2 (rear) -8 reps. D'bell shrugs from the side to fail.

    37 minutes
Temp was low to mid 30s in my shop. Perfect lifting weather!!!!

Placebo affect? Too early? Am I crazy?

MK-677 x 2 weeks. The skin on my face looks better and I swear I’m a bit more lean.

We had this wet stuff dropping from the sky the past couple of days, rain I think it’s called. Much better this afternoon though, sunny and in the low 60’s (a bit chilly still).

Hit shoulders and arms today was great gym was dead.

Shoulder db press, side raises and front raises supersetted, to finish with shrugs and close grip machine press.

Biceps db curls, single arm seated curl machine, the straight bar to finish.

Triceps rope push downs, straight bar push downs, tricep db kick backs.

    Felt good.

Arms again and streching. For the past while I have been lacking in bicep and tricep shape.

So after every workout I attack them on their own to add shape to them.

I may do some traps too. Going to do streching to help with my back etc.

Had my first of three knee gel injections yesterday morning. I was telling AG I was expecting it to be painful but it wasn't at all. No residual pain either. Surprised me. Have another one next week and then a couple days into next year for the last one. Ortho said it's like an oil change for the knee but will take some time to work.

Shoulder is improving slowly. No doubt the TB-500 and BPC-157 are helping. Doing rehab band work and a couple real light dumbell movements daily to help it per doc's orders. Other than that, doing about 20 minutes of cardio Monday through Friday along with hamstring stretching.

Yes, a whole 20 minutes. Have to admit it feels pretty good, which scares me.

What kind of cardio Kel? Bike, elliptical, treadmill? Is the knee ortho cool with that?

Totally agree with the non-impact of the bike. Arthritis is a b****, sorry.
Seems the injections work for some, not for others & it will buy you some time if it does.
Hey, nothing wrong with looking like Frank Zane after all of that cardio.

    Hi guys,

Second week in San Francisco and training and work is going well. Only one week left until I see the girls :-) Got a question about leg press machine. Never really used one. Is it normal to have to load it up with 7 plates on each side or am I dealing with a "made for beginners" machine?

I guess we’re beyond neoprene these days. Had the 2nd of 3 corticosteroid injections in my back recently. Helps but hasn’t cured.

Training otherwise has been great, but dealing with injuries is on going and seemingly never ending.

On an angled leg press....yes. That's why I bought some 100s on the cheap years ago, so I could build the base weight quickly then slap on 45s. after I got my angled press.
It's common to see them loaded up well past 6-700#.

That's the trade off on an angled vs. a vertical press. On a vertical you don't need as much weight because it loads up your legs with all the weight, whereas an angled press the weight is hitting on a vector instead of the full amount.

On the other hand, with an angled press, you can usually perform hack and reverse hacks as well.

Me too kel. Have L5 slipped onto S1 and a bulging L4. No more squats or dead’s for me but still at it, even though it hurts. I figure, I’m either going to stay home, get fat, and be in pain, or keep lifting, look good, and be in pain.

Nice AG. Standard weekday morning routine for me this morning. 5 eggs (Maximus gets one though so really 4), 1/2 avocado, 2 strips turkey bacon in a couple wheat wraps with hot sauce, handful of berries (ran out of bananas).

Full workday ahead and gearing up for chest work this eve.

Got some tattoo work done yesterday so a little tender, but happy.
