    You should go back some pages (couple weeks) and see the before and after pics I posted of it. Worth looking at imho.

    Therapist was talking the other day that I may be better off just not doing leg curls anymore and sticking to stiff leg deadlifts for direct ham work, adding that I'll get secondary ham work from compound quad work anyway. I'm fine with that as long as it keeps this from occurring again as it sucks big time. For years before I had a seated curl machine all I did for legs was squats and stiffs.
    Does the therapist think stiff leg deads would be better a far better option after this type of injury?

    Just pure shallow vanity and weakness but I couldn't take it. You have done amazing with all your injuries.
    If I do get hurt, I will try to keep you in mind when I get depressed.
    Thanks Obs - means a lot to hear i always played the what if game but im happy with what ive been able to accomplish and im definitely not done yet ... its no fun but defo always protect your back and shoulders most of all - IMHO legs of course too

    Yep, main main PT guy said it several times as did a different one that was also there the other day. I'm fine with that as long as it helps prevent it from re-occurring. It's not a feeling I ever want again. That moment will be hard to get out of my mind. Found this site last night on line while doing some more reading on this type of injury. They have me doing many of the same rehab movements already.

    When I tore the erector muscles in my back, I felt a pop. Then it felt like someone grabbed the muscle from the base of my pelvis and ripped it out all the way to my mid back. Kinda like how you do when you’re cleaning a bird. I’ll never forget that feeling.

    Thanks mate. That's an excellent site ive just been reading it for the last hour. I always feel I'm now on the verge of further injury because of my training mentality so I'm always looking for more and more exercises for prevention. I think I've mastered the emotional side of things but it is hard. I wish you a speedy recovery mate

    Awesome! Right on time post, Kel. Going in for a progress check on the shoulder Weds. and possibly have my hamstrings scraped (depends on what they say the l. leg issue/problem is).
    I have a bunch of reading and videos to watch now (as soon as my data rolls over).

    Diet was no so great the last week due to eating on the run, then not eating, then making some really poor choices when I did. Having a big honking salad this morning. It's seriously like a Jethro sized bowls like on Beverly Hillbillies.
    Lettuce, 8 oz..grilled chicken breast, a little diced Roma tomatoes, a little broccoli, pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries, some bean sprouts, 1 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese, and a tablespoon of watered down salad dressing. That should do the trick.

    Right fellas, did tri's the night and a wee bit bi's. Did tri's first for the first time, fuck me i destroyed them really!. Bi's was not much but again fuck me they got pounded.

    CG smith 2 sets TD. **new weight**

    Slight incling db skulls 2 sets drop 1 set

    Tri pd 3 sets stack. S bar

    Behind head tri ex 1 set stack 1 drop. V bar

    Standing db curls 2 sets

    Incline db curls 2 sets drop 2 sets drop 1 set

    Db preach 2 sets

    Wrist curls 2 sets

    Done, screamer fellas it really was. Chuffed, rest the mora night as i have to go and get ma wee girls prezzie.

    I've seen some of what I think you're referring to, boss. When I can calmly throw my 2cc into the mix, I do, but there are times I either hang my head or ram it into the the nearest wall.

    Opted for stretching and the Rumble Roller last night. I may try to work legs tonight, but will see how my left leg feels. I don't want to screw it up worse before it is evaluated.

    wasnt able to hit anything yesterday,,, unfortunately, my father had an episode and getting worse by the day(went through his meds and found out he wasnt taking half of them and so on - so ill be going in today - shoulder feels good so may go with pressing/chest....
