Morning fellas, never got for ma session yesterday ffs life pish. Anyway will be heading there later and raring to go. Back to work on monday and kinda looking forward to it, just to get back to normal.

Have done chest and back this week. Back was a little flat but last night chest was explosive and surprisingly strong considering it was party weekend in my house.
Tonight will be legs and off friday and ill do shoulders sat or sunday i think

Lots of RC exercises and broomstick stretches.
D'bell shoulder press- 2 w/u, Work1-7 reps.Drop a bit of weight. Work 2-5 reps. Drop a tad more weight. Work3- 6 reps.
Seated side laterals- 2 w/u, Work1- 6 reps. Drop weight. Work2- 9+ reps.
Face pulls- 2 w/u, Work1-11 reps. Work2- 12 reps.
B'bell shrugs- 1 w/u, Work1 (front)- 10 reps. Drop weight. Work2(front) - 7 reps. Work3(rear)- 7 reps. Drop a tad more weight. Work4 (rear)- 10 reps.
D'bell shrugs from the side- 8 good reps.
50 minutes total not including RC exercises and broomstick stretches, which is a tad long, but since it is a pull back lift with more volume I guess it isn't horrible.Last edited by almostgone; 01-05-2017 at 05:03 AM.

Chest today fellas - everything 30sec between sets
- Incline Negative training first on smith
3 warm ups pyramiding up - nice slow reps 3 feelers
3sets 8sec negatives/8 reps then dropped plates to press 4-6 reps(nostly all forced reps on every set last set I double dropped
- Peck deck
1w + 3 RPs
- Decline hammer strength press
1w 2 drops + RP
- cable work
High/mid/seated low to mid/high
3w on all sets - to failure!

I got to hit my chest today also.
Flat bench ss with DBs
Incline ss with DBs
I run 3 of each 1min rest between sets.
I dont do negs or forced beacuse I workout alone and like it that way.

Straight arm pd 3 sets
Rack pulls 2 working DD
Done, fried the fvcker. Back is nice and sore just now. Arms the mora.

Thanks big guy, am going to train at this other gym Nach, with the fella from work. I loved it it was a propper gym and to have someone to train with was good, i need it, i like being pushed and to get the forced reps in.
The traffic will be a bit of a nightmare but am going to go train with him twice a wk. Maybe three i'll see how the traffic is, them tree days we trained together last wk was great.
I've never been sore like that in a long time.

Wow, almost 1100 pages! Nice,so much knowledge and experience in this thread I always feel privileged to post!
Anyway, I had a nagging shoulder issue for years and MRI came up blank. So I changed my training and stopped all pressing movements and a few other minor deep stretch movements and after 6 months I'm feeling much better. I'm now starting to train a bit harder every week on my shoulders / chest. Still pretty limited and I can't go HIT on them yet, but soon it's looking like!!! I mainly got my info from you guys on what not to do to piss off my shoulder so I want to thank you guys for sharing your experience and advice. Thank you!

Glad to hear it Kyle!
Just returned from back today. Did more high-volume with a ton of rowing. Doc advised no standard pulldowns because of the RC and bicep tendon, but have found straight-arm pull downs work great without aggravating either. Long walk with the wife tonight to get my a** away from the wine & 1000 + calories. Take care all!

That's awesome Clarky! At the new gym I'm at out here now - I've had proper spotters and the there are a few hot female trainers that already want to w/o w/me it's nice lol. --- but the biggest thing is getting those forced reps in w/a partner - had a guy giving me 4-6 forced after I did heavy ass negatives first for chest(your exhausting the strongest phase of our lift so after they strip the plates your positive is already fried and at failure) so every rep I tried to do after were all forced reps which was awesome! I already have DOMS haha and it's not been 12 hrs yet -- and my back is fuckin fried from yesterday! May take off tomorrow or do legs(one of the female trainers wants to w/o together tomorrow

Great session this evening. Felt really good. Was a bit tired going in and snapped right into it during warm up.
Chest/tris - on a pull back but felt strong and did a couple drop sets after working sets.. couldn't help myself.
Wee niggles in my shoulders still - left one in particular so no free weights today on chest. Hammer strength and cables only
Wide press, decline, flys, cables for chest, and weighted dips, rope pull downs, and cable kick backs for tris.
20 mins cardio.
