That had to be from the burping contest at the Highland Games just before the caber toss. Clarky has a Sporran with a skull on it... ladies think he's pretty badass when he wears his kilt for squats.
She's a bonny young lass.....maybe Clarky can introduce me to her! Hope she likes tattoos. There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

She's a Tilted Kilt girl. It's a chain similar to Hooters.
Dinner soon. No offense Clarky, but images of you squatting in a kilt (and with a skull sporran) just is not doing a lot for my appetite. (I hope that didn’t come off as offensive, was TRYING to be funny).
What woman doesn't like tattoos?Last edited by Proximal; 04-27-2019 at 09:42 AM.

We have had quite a few days here (Me on the phone supporting my wife from a distance as she is now back in India). Friday one of my wife's Doctoral students were run over by a bus. Broken collarbone, a punctured lung and multiple bones with cracks in them. Fair to say she was is not in good condition and got off the ventilator yesterday but of course in a lot of pain. After 5-years here I am still learning about this society we live in one thing stands out when this happened. Not a single person from the other faculty or the Director or Dean has reached out asking if my wife needed anything or at a bare minimum seeing how the student is doing. And when asking about getting things done to accommodate the students family (Mom and Dad) with housing she got stuck in procedural roadblocks filled with zero empathy. We had enough sign we needed to pack up and leave already, and this was not required but had there ever been any questions before this it would be clear now.
We sometimes say that different societies do things differently and I agree but not standing by when people are in need or despair very close to you is plain and simple wrong no matter where you live.

Sorry to hear all of this T.
I'm so jaded now that regrettably, things like that seem like the norm.
Clarky, is the wife ok?
Good morning everyone. Survived another Monday, got in a decent back & delt workout; caffeinated up, ready for another day.

Well, got back from vacation a few days ago. Was out of the country. Anyway, did something that irritated my delt and it was really sore for a few days. Luggage maybe? Anyway, lived on advil and baby'd it.
So, it started feeling better over the weekend and I was ready for chest and bi's on Monday. I go down stairs and got to my last warm up on shoulder presses before a heavy set and realized I was supposed to be doing chest and bi's. WTF. I guess I was mentally so concerned about how my shoulder would do I just naturally started delts. Switched back to the original plan and all was well. We'll see how actual shoulders go on Thursday.
Today is leg day. Yeehaa!
