This is one thing that I am trying to do more of. I just finished David Goggins book and he said he stretches for two hours everyday. Now I will say this, he is the 1% of the 1%, and I recommend his book. I do the audible or Libby app and listen to it. It’s powerful! It has definitely changed me

Hi everyone,
The coach I got is not working out. Only been a few weeks but the impression is horrendous and not something I am willing to spend more money on. Getting some help from Renaissance Periodization with the training and food and I am now going to look around for someone to help with the hormone optimization (Might shoot GH a pm and see if he got time). All seems to workout though as we got some clothes to try out for the shoot and I do not need to have my shirt of for a single one so the pressure is somewhat off. Now, I am going to be in Sardinia, Italy for another shoot in September and that is on the beach so that will need to be much different. Realize my writing sounds like I am some hot shot model but nothing could be further from the truth. Only do this as a hobby as I sit around as a computer engineer all day long ;-)

A bit late but here goes:
Legs on Tuesday:
Bike- 5 minutes
Seated curls: 3-4 sets 10-15 reps slow / controlled
Seated one-leg eccentric curls: 2 sets 10-12 reps
Vertical Press: 3 working sets 15-20 reps relatively heavy
Sumo squat with heavy dumbell between legs. Deep, slow and non-lock. 3 sets 15-20 reps.
Calf crap.
Took a pic after legs. Posted on a different thread but I'll throw it up here to. Think they may be getting worse veins:
Shoulders and Tri's yesterday:
Smith Press: 3 working 8-10 reps. Slow on negative portion. Trying to keep the weight down a little so this helps with delt issue.
Dumbell Press: 3 working, moderate weight. Probably 12-15 reps non-lock.
Tricep pushdowns: 3-4 sets 10-15 reps
Cable skull crushers: 3 sets 12 ish reps
Reverse grip pulldowns: 3 sets 15 reps.
Both days were solid workouts. Back is on the agenda today. May continue with the underhand grip to give the sore tricep-lat tie in more rest. Seemed to help.

Off to Kenya for a week. Back in the 15th. Got a new coach lined up for training and nutrition but no answer from the hormone expert as of yet.

Most painful and pumped tricep’s workout of my life (courtesy of supplementation & refeeding with crap-loads of carbs over the past few days).
I love wincing from muscular pain. Had enough Mr. Triceps? I don’t hear “uncle”. OK, one more drop set, nice & slow.

Rough weekend...for diet. Lot of parties and eating events. Alot hung over today ... I’ve almost given up drinking so I just can’t hang anymore.
Back to strict diet today w/lots of water. I forgot what like to feel bad for better part of the day! :/

Damn, as much as I love the buzz white wine gives me, it kills me in the morning.
I have been fortunate enough to stick with red so far.
Nice leg, abs & cardio yesterday. My veins fall under the varicose category regrettably.
Coffee, breakfast & biceps.
Happy Monday.

Had my third visit with the physical therapist yesterday. She still agrees it's a nerve issue and not a mechanical issue. Has me doing lots of stretching to make sure everything is the cervical spine is opened up, and of course light band work with high reps. Curling movement and wrist flexion is the big issue that she's helping me correct.
Internal and external rotation of the arm is still pretty good strength wise.
Stupid orthopedist I used in the past when I ruptured my bursa is fired, lol. I went to see him before the IMC people and his suggestion was for him to cut me open and see what's going on. No way I'm letting that idiot go on tour inside my shoulder for the hell of it, so he has been placed in file 13.
Rowing movements are still legit so the PT said if I can grip it and execute reps with good form, go for it. I just have to do my band work and baby d'bell curls multiple times daily.
Going to be a slow process, but I've never been the fastest dog on the track ...There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Been told about being a good listener as well. I mean I pick & choose who I actually want to listen to, lol.
Again, congrats on the progress!
I’m on cloud nine. Not only did I get the crap beat out of me by my massage therapist. She see’s me every 2 weeks (started my cycle 2 weeks ago). She knows my supplementation goals. I was was getting down on myself, she said that in 2 weeks, more size, less fat & easily noticeable, hell f’n yeah!

We had a wild-life rescue in the hills, couple of hours from here that a friend worked at.
It’s for the unfortunate animals that idiot humans smuggle in and intend to raise as pets (such as a Lion or Tiger). They get too big, they sometimes try to starve it or kill it by other means, but fortunately many times they end up in this rescue facility.
All that separated me from the above was a chain link fence. When it roared, you could literally feel the roar reverberate through your body, awe inspiring.

Did my bands and baby weight curls about an hour ago. Will do them again this evening.....it's about as thrilling as watching cattle dump their guts in the pasture.

Physical therapist visit yesterday afternoon and then Theraband work this morning.
Think I'm going to pony up for some more GH and kick this nerve regeneration right square in the ass to get it moving a shade faster.
