The hemoglobin:hematocrit ratio is ~ 1:3. Multiply your hemoglobin by 3 and that will give you a ballpark figure for your hematocrit unless you're anemic or have hemochromatosis.

Cal, didn't you recently start back lifting regularly? If so, between the strain of the high hematocrit (which you have addressed at least partially) and the work from getting back into lifting, you may require a tad more rest for a little while.
When I got back into it, it really took the wind out of my sails for a bit, then I started getting more energy as my body started adjusting to the training.
Just a thought, but if you feel like you are fatigued more than you should be, make sure to mention it to your Dr. If you are on prescribed TRT, you may need to make an adjustment in your protocolm?Last edited by almostgone; 10-28-2015 at 06:26 AM.

Back and tri's done..... Absolutely destroyed em. I also started posing. Trying to get my quarter turn poses down first and then I'll work on transitioning between them. After that I'll work on my routine. Right now I'm practicing 3 days a week..... It's a lot tougher than I thought lol. Especially doing it pwo.....

It's getting to where i'm making Mondays' leg day, this will be week 3 as we've added them back in... 1st exercise .. hip sled 8 sets, progressive to failure, with final lift being a static hold.. 1400 lbs only moved it about 4" but held it in the sub lock out position..
I grunted.. in honor of the 1st post in this thread..

Went to a massage therapist that my usual massage therapist recommended. My usual therapist is out on maternity leave, so I decided to let this girl work on me. I think my back piece scared her because she screamed when she walked into the room. Either that or she thought a beached whale had landed on her table.
Anyway, she only had a 30 min. block open so I booked it. She was feeling all over my back and found the area that is giving me grief immediately. She was hesitant to really get in there and work it until I urged her on. Seems to be a little better so I'm headed to the shop here in a few. Been drinking boatloads of water today.
We'll find out how I hold up here in a few. There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...
