nova, some on this board and thread are much more forgiving than others, and I'm sure you'll see that over time, and those who know me know that I am one of the last people to get involved with board drama but I'm also a firm believer are in saying what's on my mind if I feel compelled to.

It's okay to respectfully hash out disagreements and even conflicts, but I'm just perplexed as to why anyone would say something disrespectful like that, particularly to Marcus, who we all look to as a leader in this community and have a world of respect for everything he's taught, the guidance and support he's shown, and the pure motivation and friendship he's given over the years.

I'm the worst ass kisser in the world, but the truth is that he's given our group more collective progress with his knowledge than we've ever gotten anywhere else and many of us directly owe the progress that we've made over the past few years to him and I'm grateful for that. So he's accomplished a great deal and has made a difference in many people's lives. That's something.

Some may not agree with me opening this up again on the open board, but it's better than this silent treatment bullsh*t.

I wouldn't have said anything if you didn't allude to the issue in your above post, and it may be silly to take it personally, but when valuable members start avoiding this thread because they don't want to deal with negativity, that's just wrong. I hope it doesn't happen again.

and i hope everyone knows I feel stupid and I am wrong for what I said. Marcus, and everyone deserves more maturity and respect than the words I chose to use. I'm sorry.

Had a killer back workout. I appreciate the advice on going at a 45/46 degree angle for bent over rows. I was stronger and felt a hell of a stretch and flex.

Weighted pull-ups. Went up in weight a bit and hit 6 reps. Rest paused and hit 2. Used the bench to get up and do a negative, which was hilarious I'm sure.

Pull downs. Using a close grip I hit a working set for 6 dropped for 3 dropped again for 3. Grip was suffering horribly. I need to use straps.

BB rows, hit 5 in my working set, dropped for 3 dropped again for 4. Excellent squeeze and I crushed the walnut tonight for sure.

I did some seated rows tonight and my lower back was feeling very tight. I needed/wanted to keep up the intensity so I went for it, but did have to back off. I hit 6 in my working set until I couldn't punch any longer and decided to end those there.

Went in to finish with DY style deadlifts but had to do a lighter weight and just move slow due to the tight back. Did 3 sets of 10 reps and just decided to shrug the weight at the end of each set 15 times.

Not exactly how I wanted the session to end, but it was intense and my middle back feels extremely weak at the moment. Really squeezed it good tonight.

    Shoulders were good tonight.

Heavy and strong reps. Head was in the game. Work has affected my training this week its been good but I know there is more in me from previous workouts. Stress and working ragged has been hard on my body and bad sleeping too doesn't help.

Started with rc warm ups the usual.

2 light warm up sets on the hammerstrength plate machine. Then one feeler and then into the fck shit up set as I like to call it in my head get my mind muscle connection up and head in the right place to push through the pain. Then a dd and a no weight set which was amazingly sore which was amazing.

Then standing db pressing only added these in recently love how you can really hit the muscles over seated. Managed 65lb dbs standing a pb for me very hard but was amazing feeling the blood rush into the muscles.

Rear delt machine 2 sets slow and heavy these felt great.

Then finished with my fave two exercises super setted front and side raises these make my shoulders pop and sear with pain.

Then cable close grip shrugs these are a great isolation shrug exercise my cousin showed me takes all your arms outta it.

I was just at my closing for my house and I was standing up talking to the attorney and he was like Jesus Christ I didn't realize how big you are, you're freaking huge. Now I know I'm not as big as you guys and I'm still plenty overweight but still made me feel good though, hard work is paying off.

    Nice session DCI!

I used to love to hitting delt presses standing(really gets your whole body into the mix - w/stabilization and strength & power)!! B4 my injury I would do these either w/DBs or a BB inside a rack!

Glad to hear that others have the "work/life" scenario playing with their head and affecting their workout. Some days I'm in the zone, some days I'm struggling to find that groove. Thanks DCI.

If I come off as overzealous its probably just because I'm so damn excited to have someone, even strangers, committed to improving themselves at such a high level like everyone here.
Correct. At this moment your not really wanted around here. You came back to the forum and in your return thread you were warmly greeted, I think it went to your head. Then you came in here and acted like a complete asshole. Im not sure if in your life you can just pretend it didnt happen, but being part of our group in a PRIVILEGE. PERIOD! You need to walk away from this thread for awhile, let things be forgotten and then come back after some time and ask Marcus if its cool you jump back in. Many people take this for granted, but Marcus and others have poured their heart and souls into this, it not taken lightly. I've been super good about this because its Marcus' thing, Im wearing thin, you need to take a break from here, posting like crazy, kissing ass isnt going to change shit, we are not some little bitch, we are a tight nit group,a little family bonded by iron.

Edit: you can pm me but your not going to like the response.

I wear the Rehband neoprene sleeves Clarky and they do help. If it is a tendonitis, look up "flossing the elbow" or "voodoo floss", it gives me some relief. Also. I think I mentioned it before, but the DMSO/aloe gel that Kel had posted before is some good stuff. I give it 2 thumbs up.

Oh, dear Lord, I am tired. I stayed up too late after giving blood, BUT, drinking a shake and headed to work shoulders here in just a few.

BG, do.your knees give you grief on hacks w/ feet close together? I wear neoprene Rehbands on my knees, but for me, feet close together doesn't feel natural/weird to my knees?

Hit the post you want to quote, copy the quote, and paste it into the new reply. If I am on my phone, sometimes I will have several tabs of the same page open to copy and paste quotes from, and one page open to pste in the replies.
    Hope that helps.

Nice lift, BG, and I think the idea of slowly advancing the weight is wise. You know how frustrating it is to play the "one step forwards, two steps backwards" game.

It doesnt matter how good looking she is, some where, some one is tired of her shit.

OK, lifting tomorrow. Walking down to the shop, I noticed my truck had a funky gangster lean. It was a flat tire. Just finished taking it off, plugging it, inflating it, and putting it back on.
Sucks, but at least I caught it in time to handle it before work. Shoulders tomorrow!!
