    [QUOTE=kelkel;6786348]Just got done legs:

Squats: Went relatively heavy but racked it at 8 reps due to feeling my knee. It's my new gauge, dammit. Dropped some weight and did another set after about a minute. Got 14 here.
Vertical Press: One heavy with RP
Dumbell lunges: Haven't done these in a while as i always opt for my "Smith" version, but they felt good. Almost fell the Fvck over but still good.
No ext or curls as the new parts are not in yet for my machine!
Stiff Leg Deads: Two sets relatively heavy.
    Usual calf crap.

Feeling it already. Better than expected.[/QUOT
I love how you just say "usual calf crap" and then youve got the most fvking awesome calfs ever!

Forgot my neoprene today so skipped legs. Switched at the last minute to chest/tris and had an amazing session.

Flat DB press heavy with drop set
Incline DB flys, heavy with drop set
Incline BB press couldn't go as heavy as I wanted but went to failure.
Hammer strength declines moderate weight to failure

Hammer strength tricep heavy/ double drop
    Vbar push down
    Seated tri extensions
    One arm cable extensions

    10 mins cardio lol.

You know I guess I do say that regularly. I only mean that there's not a lot of different things you can do for calves. Good observation!

Great little things aren't they? I'm due for a new pair already. They start to fall apart and stretch out after a while.

I'm actually looking for a used, cheap stationary bike. Just want to be able to warm up my knees a bit more. Def not cardio. Don't go there.

Back tonight. Went to 405 with pulls. Always pull at the lowest pin. But still this only goes down past my knee I would like one more setting down but gym doesnt have the equipment oh well.

    Few wide grip pulls

    Dring pulls

    Rack pulls

Warmed up with db rows. Gym only goes to 100...sucks.

Stomach is in knot from so much food. Decided not to push things do I cut back on last meal. Maybe tommorow it will be better

Leg day for many it seems, and me as well. My gym was packed as I got a late start. Got in and out and really attacked it.

    Getting stronger each leg workout.

They make a big difference for me. Almost like having an extra set of tendons around your knees. My knee pain has noticeable reduced since I started using them a couple months ago.

    I use these,

The Neo G Stabilized Open Knee Support with heat therapy utilises unique metal spiral stays to fully stabilize the knee whilst still allowing controlled movement. The support helps provide maximum stability and compression and the open patella area helps with patella tracking problems. Heat therapeutic neoprene helps circulation, beneficial in the relief of arthritic pain or chronic aches and stiffness. Adjustable straps allow variable compression and ensure a custom fit around the entire knee complex.

Marcus - I remember reading somewhere before that knee wraps, if very tight can actually make the knees worse in the long run by limiting any articulation in them. I realise the ones you posted above are more like supports, but just wanted to see if you have an opinion on knee wraps generally.

I use to only wrap my knee's on heavy lifts, the usually elasticated PL wraps but as I got older my joints hurt more and more so I wear the ones I posted all the time during legs. I never wrapped them tight anyway and the ones I use have 3 adjustments on them so you can have them as loose or as tight as you like. My only opinion I have on them is that it helps me at this time of my life with the training I do, I can go heavy and really work the muscle instead of worrying about any knee pain. For me personally its the warmth what helps with the lifting and they feel really good when your using heavy weights instead of that uncomfortable feeling going through your knees

    Legs last night:

Started for something diff, pre exhaust just advance on as the squat rack and leg press were in use.

Leg extensions two warm up then into heavy exhaust set with double drop to really light weight muscles were pumping after this.

Leg curls same as above really different feeling this tbh enjoyed it will start incoporating it into my routines as just to see what it will be like for other body parts.

Then leg press straight into heavy set and this was hard but really interesting experience. One heavy then double drop into light weight muscles screaming.

    Lunges to finish

No squats today as was still being used will do next week

I shall invest in a pair then and see how I get on. I smashed my knee cap at work a couple of months ago, and its been slightly uncomfortable during some lifts. Maybe this, plus the warmth will help relieve that slightly!

Yes defiantly worth getting some if you have some pain in the knee's. I will probably end up wearing a full body suit of Neo soon

I'm getting most of my lifts in, I just haven't had much opportunity to post them up...work is crazy; think that's the new "norm" now.
Cardio - 45 min.this morning soon as I got home from work. Will post up this evening after I lift.
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

I've been throwing in the cardio 2-3 times a week seperate from my lifts since I started the 5 day routine Marcus posted. Lol, there's just no set time for my lifts or cardio. I may lift in the morning, next lift may be the next afternoon I can squeak in, some days I come home and sleep for 4-5 hours, then get up lift and maybe grab a nap before work.....and then there are the days I don't get to lift trying go minimize them though...
I like that 5 routine though....just have to make sure I have NSAIDS on hand.
