I can understand that. I usually.use.my Smythe machine for that. I set the safeties so I won't crush myself if I crap out and just go until I can go no further and then either rest pause or quickly drop some weight and lather, rinse, and repeat.
It would be nice to have the occasional assist at the failing point and get the elusive "one more rep" thing going.
Hmm, you teach, correct? Surely you have a student or two in need of some "extra credit".

I figure if I try to get that last rep up and I can't and almost die trying then that's just the same I'd imagine as if I had a spotter . For triggering the growth mechanism...

RC keeps me from going to as much failure as I'd like for certain movements, have to shut them down a rep too soon for safety.

Instead of grabbing that elusive/dangerous rep, can you slow.down the speed of the positive and negative portion to get some extra muscle stimulation or rest for 15-20 deep breaths and then grab a static hold or negative only rep, Prox?

Oops! Good morning, all! . Feeling yesterday's back session a decent amount. Lats are fried. Kind of expected glutes and lower back to be a bit more sore, but that may kick in as the day progresses.
Not looking forward to working today.

    Good morning people!
Been awhile since I dropped by except for some minutes here and there.

Looks like the wife is finally ready for the big D.
She called me bout it last night while I was "visiting" a very nice lady.
Stayed the night and feel a ton of stress has gone, although I know the road ahead isn't gonna be easy.
I don't like to deceive anyone, but I just can't tell her about any other women or what can be a civilized process will turn into hell.
To bad, for I really wish the best for my wife, wish she could start dating and fuck around. It's a catch 22.

Anyway, had my first shoulder workout in a long time yesterday.
While press excersizes still need some caution, it's miracolous how much better I am. And everything else than press excersizes goes ok, so I can get a decent pump. No more heart issues either.
But I know I have to keep stress down, that's the real killer.
Aside from that I dropped the anadrol and started with some liquid arimidex to keep BP down. Not that it's been high, but I noticed some water retention and felt much better lowering the E2 a bit. Only use 0,1ml adex, which should translate to 0,1mg, and did that for only two times at EOD dosing before I noticed a big difference. I'm inclined to think the adex has to overdosed.
(Think I'm gonna stay with 0,1ml two times a week, but I'm open for suggestions)

However, I've always been very sensitive to adex. Never needed much.
Only reason I've stayed away from it is because I was afraid to drive E2 down to much while my shoulder hurt, cause when E2 crashes on me all joints flare up.

Looking forward to some gym time today. Have to get home first though.
And I wasn't really planning on telling you all this, I feel like an asshole,
but the way I see it there's no right way here.
Either I do what's so called right, and never get any relief, or I act selfishly.

Hope you're all well and good and have a truly nice weekend.

    Morning guys and gals!!

Everything on the body is sore as hell today. Shoulders are crushed! Back has DOMS pretty good its self. Today is a rest day today. Might go play some golf maybe and then again I might just lay on the couch and watch tv and eat.

The wife and I went to see Kevin Hearts What Now movies. It was pretty good if you like stand up.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday!!!

Morning. I've got 3 more hours of driving to the new job. Then Ive got to get set up with a room, get a new gym membership, and get some groceries. If I can get all that done in a fair amount of time, I'll hit legs this aft. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Hit a 5k run yesterday and think I'm going for another today and lifting will start tomorrow

I'm really planning on getting my size back then priming for 6+ wks and we'll see where that puts me in time but I'll have plenty of time to achieve what I'm setting out to do...

Have a kickass day all enjoy your Sunday!

Seated calfs 4 sets good burn

Did some traps that was good.

Oh absolutely! I'm just jealous of you all and the guys @ the gym and want to push things a bit with lifts that I still can do without any pain. Want to see some more increases in poundage, that's all.

Still feeling pumped from yesterday's workout, hell-yeah!

    Morning everyone!

Shoulders just now didn't have much time so did what I could started with 10 min stretching shoulders in every way
    Shoulder presses db's
    Warmup 20 reps
    Heavy 6 reps
    6 reps double drop set
    Side lateral raises
    Warmup
    Heavy 7 reps
    8 reps double drop set
Supersetted side lateral raises with front raises
And that's a rap 23 min plus stretching and my shoulders feel like blowing up
Have a great sun all I gotta work all night only one day off this week$

Shit. Treat it gentle and stay away from climbing/ladders for a bit if you can, Clarky. Any swelling on just dull pain?

I'm not enjoying pumpkin spice flavored whey as much as I thought I would. Think I will stick to coconut next time.
It's drinkable but not as good as I hoped for.
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Thx, I just hope the process will be civilized and that she'll move on quick.

Anyways, just home from the gym,
    Legs program today.
Somewhat different than usual as I skipped squats.

    Bulgarian lunges with dumbells
    Walking lunges with Dumbbells
    Seated Hip adductions
    Seated leg curls
    Leg press
    Ab crunches in incline

All in all a good workout with very little impact on joints, but it gave a nice pump and kept the heart rate up.
Now I'll do a second leg workout in some days with squats and front squats, mixed with something, not sure what yet.
