Deep tissue massage with advanced therapist. He is helping me have more movement and strength. One hour yoga and holding poses longer, deeper. HIIT treadmill work out for 30 minutes.
Starting 14 day challenge (Eating superclean) to get off Plateau. Bad foods creeping into diet due to stress so need to work through that!

Just came in and sat down in a wooden chair to kick off my shoes and grab some water before I dive through the shower. She's already up in my lap.
Don't think she really knows how to play even though she's a puppy? She's starting to get the hang of it. We're working on crate training her but it's going to take time. She freaked when we put her in a small crate, so we let her in on of the mastiff crates. Probably will section part of it off with the divider.
She still will be up in the bed with us when we sleep, but I want her to be acclimated to a crate when necessary. There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

**Marcus's HIT Dungeon**
Somehow I tweaked left knee from yesterday’s workout...feels like meniscus. Going up and down steps very painful. Iced and elevated in evening which helped initially. Going to get some Aleave (sp?), ice and elevate. No gym
Self diagnosing injury is likely related to compensation from neuroma. I’ve had neuroma in right foot and noticed tingling sensation in left for almost a year but wasn’t working out so didn’t care. Since restarting yoga have noticed inability to perform single leg yoga balance poses (eagle, tree, half moon) on left side.
Scheduling appt with podiatrist and hoping no surgery - bc can’t wear

Hope it gets right for you soon, GGR! I bet you have some really cute flats to wear in the meantime.
Would that help put the pressure off the ball of your foot and distribute it evenly?
It is so dang easy to aggravate healthy body parts when we compensate for a painful or injured part of our body. There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

There are no cute flats. Ever. Maybe kitten heels but no flats.
Thinking this is related to previous left foot surgery....and my heels
I feel myself dying inside when I have to wear safety shoes. There’s no cute ones except cow girl boots and that’s just not me...but these are bad A$$

Gents... iced and elevated Saturday and Sunday evening. Took 2 alieve last nite.
From intense pain Saturday to moderate pain Sunday to mild pain this morning to no pain now. Odd. And glad it’s gone.

Hey all. Another day done, got some quality gym time in, hitting the hay.
First let me check if the coffee pot is set for the morning. OK, good to go.

Back into this thread. Got a second place in the competition and feel happy about that this year. As I do not have time for CrossFit at this time in my life, so I am re-focusing on doing a Physique competition, tentatively, in January. Just need another goal and would be fun to do one. Got a coach (Because I had a great experience with another coach for CrossFit that brought me some first places) I am doing the same here. He will start coaching me on May 15 and until I do the actual competition. I am a bit of a coach's dream, I am executing everything they say making it easy for them to make adjustments based on what I am training and eating. Looking forward to that.
My wife is doing teaching in Sweden for the next 45-days so we are spending that time here. With my new job location is not essential and the feeling of not having to be in India for a while is almost indescribable.

Good morning all! Two days of great workouts. Rest & recovery day for me (they seem to be more of a necessity these days).
Hope you all are doing well.

Morning Prox!
Leg day yesterday. Since combining Quads and Hams again I've been hitting hams second, which my PT told me not to do actually. His logic is that I should train them when fresh not so I'm stronger per se, but so there's less chance of injury. Always hated doing them first but it is obvious to me that when done second they definitly fatigue fast.
Seated hams: 2 working moderate weight, slow, controlled 12 ish reps
Seated eccentric's: same as above
Stiff legs: 2 sets 15 reps
Squats: 3 working. Went heavier again for 10 then backed down for 15
Verticals: 3 sets 12-15 reps
Calf crap.
Real good day.
